As I began reading this book, I noticed that it had a couple grammar errors, but that's not too surprising. Lots of people have those.
JessGirls93's characters are written so well, that it's almost like you can feel the concern seep out of Cole for Tessa as he realizes that she has been starving herself. You can feel the passion Tessa has for everything, whether it is her hate or her love. In my personal opinion though, Nicole's character is a little bit too flat and cliché. The ex-best friend go popular and becomes a bitch? Not the most original.
The plot line is verging on cliché as well, the boy Tessa has hated for so long has suddenly become her saving grace, but I, myself like that idea for the plot. This is a book that pulls you in, reading each word makes you feel like you could be there, almost like you could be Tessa as she goes through all of these things.
Every minute I spent reading this book, I spent wondering what will happen next. There are many little mysteries going on in The Bad Boy's Girl. For example, who is Travis's mystery girl? That was long dragged out. As well as, why did Cole leave? And why did Travis not want Tessa to know that Cole came to say goodbye first?
In the end though I was cheering for Cole and Tessa to succeed in having a relationship, after all of the tears and emotions. In my opinion, this has by far one of the best books I've read on wattpad and I cannot wait to read the sequel The Bad Boy's Heart (Bad Boy Series #2) as well as The Bad Boy Chronicles (Bad Boy Series #1.5) which is written from Cole's perspective.
Sadly, the author of the book wasn't able to answer some of the questions I had, as I was never able to get a hold of her, but if she is reading this. Congratulations, I give this book a 9.5/10 [.5 off for grammar]!
Don't forget to check it out!
