Chapter 1

My first day of my new school is today. The day I've been waiting for. A fresh start. Of course my dad put me in a private school. My mom says that all the kids that go there are troubled rich kids. I don't believe her. Im excited to meet new people. Not my old friends in New Jersey. I have a new life now. Last year was awful. Thank got im a junior now. Im about to turn 17. In like 2 months. The only reason im in this school is because my dad has lots of money. He has always wanted the very best for me. My mom just wants me to be normal. She doesn't care if i fail. As long as im normal. My dad has high expectations for me. He wants me to succeed in life. Not be a failure. He's just looking out for me. I slowly sit up in bed. My dad walks in. "Hey honey, im off to work. Make sure you leave in time, your keys are on the table. I love you." He's such a great dad. "Okay, i love you too dad. Bye." He shuts my door. Before standing up I grab my phone. I text my mom Good morning and that i love her. I turn on some music and get in the shower. Today is gonna be great. I hope. My dad says the girls there are apparently really nice. His coworker has a daughter that goes there. Maybe ill try to find her. Her name is Avani i think. I get out of the shower and pick out my clothes. A white button up with high waisted jeans. I add a Gucci belt and a jacket. I blow dry my hair adding a little bit of light makeup. I curl my hair and grab my bag. My dad told me my keys are on the counter so I grab them and a a cup of coffee before walking to my car. I unlock my white Tesla and hop in. My phone hooks up to the aux continuing the music i was listening to earlier. I drive to the school and jam out. I pull out my id card and unlock the gates the the building. On my card i have an assigned parking spot. 18. Wow im close to the school. There's hundreds of parking spots. And the building is huge. Jt looks like 4 stories high. I park and lock my car. My heels click as me and others make our way into the school. I guess im not too dressed up. Everyone else looks amazing. I find my locker. 18. I put my bag in and lock it. "Hey, you must be Madison. Im Avani. My dad and your dad are friends." I smile and we share a small hug. "Yea im Madison." She grabs my hand pulling me towards the food court. Yes a damn food court. We sit at an empty table. "So how are you feeling?" She asks. "Honestly excited. This is amazing." I say smiling. "Trust me this never gets old. And the boys here are like hot!" We both laugh. "Okay so heres my schedule." She says handing me her phone. Mines the exact same. "I think our dads made sure we were in the same exact classes." We both laugh. "Hey can you hang out after school?" I nod and smile. A girl sits next to her. "Hey, you must be the new girl Madison! Im Nessa!" She practically yells. I smile. A we all three talk before another two girls join us. "Oh hi! Madison is it?" I nod. "Im Addison! This is Olivia!" I smile and hug them. "Oh here we go. They always have to make an entrance." Olivia says. I move my eyes to see what their looking at. 6 boys walk an together. "Thats Bryce, kio, Jaden, josh, Anthony and griffin." Addison says. I nod still looking at them. They walk towards us, sitting down beside us. "Hey. Are you Madison
?" I nod my head yes. "Im griffin." I smile. "Im josh. This is Anthony." He says pointing at the dirty blonde hair boy. "Im Bryce, thats kio and Jaden." He says pointing at two black haired boys. All of them are gorgeous. "Hey." Jaden says smiling. I hear the bell ring. "Lets go Madison!" Avani says. We walk into first period, chemistry. We sit almost all the way in the back. "Dude! Did you see the way Jaden was looking at you?" I look at her confused. "Now I wasn't too focused on him." She laughs. "He was staring at you girl." I blush. The classroom is huge. Theres a wall with many shelves. All of them are numbered. I look for 18. "So by now you guys should know your numbers, find your number and put your notebooks, computers, and any supplies from this class in it." He hands us our things. "Hi Madison, im Mr.Thomas. Im so excited to have you." I smile and put my things away. We all just talk about a things. Again its not just the first day for me but its the first day of school for everyone. Period 1 ends and we walk into Period 2. History. Someone catches my eye. Jaden. Me and Avani sit in the desks behind him and Josh. During class Avani kicks me and i look up. Theres s small note on my desk. I read it. 'Josh keeps saying your name to Jaden and he smiles.' I blush and give the note back to her. Well thats new. We walk out of class walking to our next one. Algebra 2. Me, Avani, Addison, and Olivia sit at a table. Nessa and josh sit with Jaden and Anthony. "Jaden obviously likes Madison." Avani says to the group. "No way! He never falls for any girls. Trust me I've tried." Olivia says. After a few minutes i glance over to see Jaden looking at me. I turn back around blushing. "He's looking at me." I say softly. Olivia glances at him and smiles at me. "He definitely likes you." She says. After socializing the entire class we go to 4th period. English. Its only me, Nessa, and Avani. "Jaden was staring you down." Nessa says smiling. "I know. What's with that?" She shrugs. That class goes by quickly. 5th Period is art and everyone is in it. We all sit at one table and talk. I occasionally catch Jaden looking at me. Why me? 6th Period was just me snd Avani. Reading. It flys by and we walk into 7th. Gym. We get our gym outfits and put them in our lockers. Were all in this class together. The day ends and we all exchange numbers. Including Jaden. I head home blasting music like always.
