Hyungwon lifted his head when the bell rang to see a group of girls start to smile at him and giggle. Ew. He wasn't amused. He was tired and didn't feel like dating anyone at the moment. That's when he realized. They weren't looking at him. They were looking at HIM. A muscular boy with black hair was sitting next to him. He was wearing jeans, a football jacket, and red vans. Hyungwon's mouth parted slightly as he examined the boy's features. His chubby, but toned face, outlined by his fluffy black hair. His thin, heart-shaped lips moving slightly to the song he was humming. His pierced ears cutely stuck out from the rest of his face. Hyungwon couldn't stop looking at the dark-haired boy. He was breathtaking. "넌 너무 예뻐, 슬프도록 아름다워" he mumbled. Sooner or later the boy noticed Hyungwon's stares.
"Hey," he said, "You're the new kid... uhh. Chae? Right?" he smiled. God was his smile gorgeous. It lit up the entire room and was so perfect, so innocent, so pure, like a kid. "Hello?"
"Oh uh yeah, sorry, I'm really tired, long day," he lied. "And Chae is actually my last name."
"Oh my bad, sorry. Why do you introduce yourself as 'Chae Hyungwon' then?"
"Well, I'm from Korea and we say our last name and then first name. Just a cultural thing." he chuckled. He thought it was funny that the boy was obviously Korean but didn't know about names.
"Oh cool! I'm Korean too, obviously, but I don't know much about it. I just know that I really like ramen. Wait! That means if I went to Korea my name would be 'Lee Hoseok' not 'Hoseok Lee" like it is here. That sounds cooler." he pouted.
"Yeah exactly! So your name is Hoseok?" Hyungwon smiled. Hoseok.
"Yessir. You can call me Wonho if you want though. It's just what friends call me since football and stuff."
"We're friends? I just met you like five seconds ago." he laughed.
"Fine you don't have to be my friend. I just thought you looked sad. And cute people shouldn't be sad so I tried to make you happy," he said mockingly. He stuck out his tongue and giggled. Hyungwon's face was as red as a tomato. He awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck.
"Oh so now I'm your friend and cute huh?" he said unexpectedly.
Wonho's cheeks turned a deep red. "I did say that, didn't I. Well, I'm not wrong. You're cute."
Hyungwon smiled and turned back to look at the group of girls he could feel death staring at him. And there they were. He just laughed to himself and faced toward his teacher. He kept exchanging glances with Wonho and smiling shyly. He couldn't focus on what the teacher was talking about, he could only focus on the boy next to him.
