They arrived at Wonho's house about ten minutes later and opened the door to the small bakery below it.
"Annyeonghaseyo, Eomma!" Wonho shouted.
"You know Korean?" Hyungwon said, shocked.
"I know a little. My mum gets mad if I say 'sup' or 'hey' so she told me to only say hello to her in her native language."
Hyungwon chuckled and looked at the shorter male. A small, petite woman came running from the kitchen and smiled at the three males.
"Annyeong! How are you Changkyun?" she grabbed the boy's face, "you look so handsome today!" she smiled and looked over to Wonho, then at Hyungwon suspiciously. "Who are you?" She examined the tall boy and smiled.
"Eomma this is Hyungwon, today was his first day at the high school. He moved from Korea and I have a class with him."
"Oh, you look familiar" she smiled at the tall boy, "so tall oh my goodness."
"Annyeonghaseyo," he smiled and bowed to the small woman.
"And polite! You know if I wasn't too old for you I would have married you!" she exclaimed happily. Hyungwon just laughed and smiled. "Alright boys you guys can go upstairs to the house and do whatever. Just don't burn the house down or set anything on fire."
The three boys chuckled and headed upstairs after waving to Wonho's mother. Hyungwon of course bowed again. They ran up the stairs into a small but cozy apartment above the bakery. They followed the elder into his room and they all sat on his bed.
"Welcome to my small, always smells like cookies home," Wonho giggled.
"It's cute Wonnie," Hyungwon smiled.
"Dude I would kill for my house to smell like cookies all the time," Changkyun grabbed the remote to the tv and turned it on. "We should play a game."
"Sure, what do you wanna play?" Wonho grabbed the remote from Changkyun and turned it to Spotify where he played Fancy by Twice.
Hyungwon's face lit up as he shouted, "I love this song!" he jumped up from the bed and started singing and dancing to the song.
"Woah wait you can actually dance, and sing," Wonho said in complete awe.
"He sure can. He used to train at a company to become an idol but then he moved. We used to train together actually. Wait you debu-"
"Changkyun, I told you not to bring that up ever."
"Why not? It's cool and it could help you make friends."
Wonho watched them bicker for a few minutes while he played with his fingers. He got kind of annoyed at how much they argued with each other. He knew they weren't actually arguing, but they seemed like they wouldn't be good friends considering how much they do argue. It was just weird for him. The only time he argued with people was when there was an unfair call or something like that during a football game. He never argued with his mum, surprisingly, never argued with his friends, ever. Sometimes he argued with his cats about giving him the toy back, but that was about it.
"Wonho isn't it cool," Changkyun shouted at him.
He looked up at the small boy quickly and then at Hyungwon. "I mean, I guess yeah."
"Oh my god I'm leaving," he walked towards the door and put his hand on the knob. Just before he could open the door Wonho grabbed his wrist.
"No, I'm sorry. Please don't leave." The taller boy looked at the hand gripping his wrist, up to the boy's face where their eyes locked. They stood there for a few minutes just staring at each other. In just silence, shock, and confusion. Wonho was the first to break the silence as he released his grip from the younger's wrist. "Sorry, you can go if you want." The taller boy looked down at the floor and left.
"What the hell was that?" Changkyun said. "Actually, I don't want to know, see you tomorrow." He left and Wonho was left alone in his room.
