Blaine.

Blaine pulled on his Dalton Academy blazer and sighed. This isn’t what he wanted. Sam tried to get him to stay at McKinley but it wasn’t right without Kurt. He wished Kurt had never left. Sometimes he wished he has never met Kurt. But Blaine would never admit it.

“mom!” Blaine shouted from the front door of the house he lived in with his mom and dad, “I’m going to school, see you later!” he walked out and slung his satchel over his shoulder.

He pulled his vibrating phone out of his pocket. The caller ID read ‘Sebastian Smythe’ Blaine sighed and ran a hand through his hair. He felt free without all the gel he wore to Mckinley.

“What do you want?” Blaine said angrily. He never really liked Sebastian.

“I heard you were coming home. To the Warblers I mean.” Sebastian laughed “I’m sure you could be captain if you wanted.” He flirted

“I really don’t care about being Captain of the warblers. I just want to finish my senior year. I just want good grades so I can get into a good collage. Please Sebastian, if you really want to talk to me, wait until I get to school.” Blaine hung up as soon as he had finished talking.

He had a text from Finn

‘good luck bro x’ Blaine half smiled and put his phone back in his pocket.

He didn’t want to be noticed. He just wanted to slide back into Dalton with no fuss, so he could get on with his work and finish his senior year so he could get away from Lima and away from memories of Kurt.

He opened the huge brown double doors to Dalton and sat at reception. He could hear the Warblers rehearsing already. No one noticed he was back. Only the warblers would and they are all in the choir room.

“Blaine Anderson.” The lady sitting behind a large black, wood desk called, Blaine stood and walked over. “Welcome back Mr Anderson. Here is your timetable and locker number. Have a nice day.” She smiled and Blaine started to walk away “oh and the Warblers want to see you” the lady added.

Blaine wandered to the choir room, trying to take as long as possible. He walked through the brown wooden doors to see the Warbler meeting.

“welcome back Blaine. Good to see you looking like Blaine Warbler should. Because even at McKinley they knew you would always be a warbler. This is your home. It always will be.” Hunter Clarington the captain of the group said to me

“I don’t want to be a warbler. I just want to finish my senior year and get out of this stupid town.” Blaine said standing in the doorway, untying his blazer button.

“but blaine-” Sebastian started

“I don’t care what you all say. I just want to get on with my school work.” Blaine sighed falling onto the couch furthest away from the group.

“ok Blaine Warbler. We’ll leave you to it then” Hunter declared “come on boys.” He trotted out the rest of the warblers following closely behind.

Blaine looked up at the ceiling. He wanted to sing. He wanted to sing to Kurt to show him how sorry he was and how much he loved him. He started to sing ‘and I love her’ by The Beatles

‘I give him all my love

That’s all I do

And if you saw my love

You’d love him too

I love her

Bright are the stars that shine

Dark is the sky

I know this love of mine

Will never die

And I love him’

He trailed off and a tear rolled down his cheek. He quickly wiped it away and walked quickly to American History class. Blaine was 10 minutes late.

“first day back Mr Anderson, and you’re late. Not very impressive, take the spare seat next to Sebastian” the teacher said
