Saints PoV
I let out a small while walking from my lecture hall to the canteen of my faculty, the place our friend-group had been using for meeting up on the campus, at least when the canteen wasn't closed. It started out silly first, two of us running into each other 3 years ago and getting close, and well over the years, our clique had grown quote a lot. At some point, we were thinking about meeting up at one of the other canteens, but then again, the faculty of art was situated in the middle of the university campus, giving the members of our group an equally long way back to their respective faculties. Well that was for all the case but one, who became our running man and later on just decided to drive his car back in forth. And seemingly, he was never too late to his classes.I reached the outdoor part of the canteen and saw the others sitting on our regular stone table and having a chit-chat. Only me, and the unlucky runner were left to complete our round of 6. When I finally came close, Earth happily waved at me and the others, Gulf, Mild and Mean turned around and started looking quite happy when seeing me.
"Hey Saint"
Mean smiled at me and I took my place at the head of the table, Mean on the other side, while Gulf was on my left and Earth on my right. Mild sat between Gulf and Mean, so the remaining vacant spot was on Earth right side. And of course, that place could only take one person.
While the others already had their food, I just put my sketchbook down on the space in front of me and fished the little black box with chalks and charcoals out of my small drawing bag.
"Skipping Lunch again?"
Gulf just shook his head and dug in his food. He was wearing a black suit with a golden necktie, probably the most flashy uniform of all faculties. I was glad that they were a little more... open to normal clothes in the art majors, talking about the strict dress-codes of the other faculties as a ' limitation of their personal creativity'. In any way, I was happy wearing my black cotton pants and the white T-shirt with print on it.
"I woudmt me amble to mo..."
"Stop speaking with a full mouth", Mean said strictly. He wasn't that bad of a guy normally, but if there was one thing our friend Mean could not stand, then it was talking with a full mouth.
"Sorry Mean"
Gulf looked down on his plate and just continued putting food in his mouth but without talking this time. Mean was the only one with an Alpha aura here, at least currently when we were still lacking someone. And though, Mean was a very kind and nice guy, his Alpha Aura sometimes came through a bit too much, making the whole situation a little... uncomfortable.
"I really can't understand you Saint. The exhibition is a month away and you already start skipping lunch? Your habits are getting worse.... maybe i should feed you."
