Chapter TEN: the End

After the dinner, we enjoyed movies at Ryan's home and for the next few days we just explored L.A. restaurants and diners because food is life.

Ryan and I enjoyed his birthday by celebrating it at his new home and by going to Disneyland in Anaheim.
"Disneyland, here we come!" I shouted. "Is this your first time going to Disneyland?" Ryan asked. "Yeah! And I'm pretty stoked! It's the 'happiest place on earth', I wanna enjoy it though I'm a 16 year old. Haha." I replied. "Of course." Said Ryan.
We had an amazing time in Disneyland with another week left before I had to return home, we volunteered to help elders in a nursing home just on the outskirt of L.A. and we saw Demi coming out of a building. If I'm correct, Demi's neighbors are a bunch of elders and that building is for elders. We randomly stumbled over Demi again but where she lives, her apartment. But we did not want to bother her because she looked pretty busy though we did say "hi." and all.

Two years has past. I'm now 18! But I still live with my foster family because...
"I want to move out. It's already May, there's like a week left of school, and I'm 18. When I graduate, you guys will certainly be there! But I want to move out Mr. and Mrs. Augustice." I said to Mr. and Mrs. Augustice. "No. Not until you graduate. You'll have a long road ahead of you to be alone! We don't think you're emotionally ready and definitely not finically ready." Said Mrs. Augustice. "Why do you guys care so much about me? All I ever done is stayed in my room, go to school, go out to L.A. to visit Ryan, and of course I'll never get along with Connor." I replied. "Just let her go, nobody needs her here anyway." Said Connor. "I need her here! Maybe not you. But I do!" Natalie said to Connor. "I do too!" Said Julie. "Stop." I said to Connor, Natalie, and Julie. "Whatever." Natalie said and stormed out. "I understand, Mrs. Augustice but I'll do fine on my own. I have a job, I have what's left from my parents, and I'm going to move back to San Fransisco because that's where I'll always be." I said. "No way..." Said Julie. "We're going to be supportive about your decision. Or at least I will be. So Juliet, by the end of this week you better have a plan on how you're going to do this." Said Mr. Augustice. "But honey..really?" Mrs. Augustice said to Mr. Augustice. "Aw but that means I'll be alone here with Connor to boss me around." Said Julie. "Don't worry, by the end of summer he'll be going to college." I smiled and said to Julie.

I walked outside and towards the beach, as Natalie was going to surf. I've learned how to surf for the past few years. "Hey Natalie." I said. "Oh, hey Juliet. Um, do you want to surf?" Natalie asked. "Uh, yeah. I'll surf with you. Just give me a moment, so you go first. I'll follow afterwards!" I said. "Oh alright." said Natalie.

After a while, Connor and Natalie went to find Juliet because she was no where to be found. Her car was still at home, but she was last seen at 4 surfing, after lunch with Natalie at 3. When Juliet was found by Natalie, she was rushed to the hospital.

"Juliet." Someone whispered. I opened my eyes, and there my parents stood there. "Now take it slowly, she may or may not remember you." Said the doctor. "Juliet, honey." Said my mother. "Is this real life?" I whispered. "This is real life." Said Ryan. "What happened?" I asked. "You were in a car crash with another person." Said my father. "What's their name?" I asked. "Natalie." Said Ryan. I looked over and I saw Kian, Melinda, and Sunshine standing outside the room crying through the window. "Where is the Augustice family? Where's Connor, Natalie, Nick, and Julie? Where are they?" I asked because I'm confused. "What are you talking about?" My parents asked. "The Augustice lives in Malibu, they own a restaurant, they foster kids, and they're in San Fran. visiting my family." Said Ryan. "I want to see Natalie." I said to Ryan. "How do you know the Augustice?" Connor asked while walking in. "Connor!" I said surprisedly. "Yeah, I'm Connor. Connor Augustice." Said Connor. "Well I was foster by your family, after my parents died from their trip to Europe. But I guess it was all a dream..." I said to Connor. "Really? Strange. Natalie had the same exact dream and Julie keeps on saying she dreamed of fostering a girl name Juliet Waterton." Connor said strangely. "Is Natalie okay?" I asked. "Natalie is fine. She woke up last week and now she's walking." Connor said. "That's good." Said my parents. "Anyways, this is my buddy Connor. Seems like you already know him, from your dream." Said Ryan.
Natalie walked in. "Natalie?" I said. "Juliet. Juliet Leslie Waterton." Said Natalie. "I miss you." Said Julie. "I miss all of you, the Augustice family!" I said. "I miss you so much." Said Natalie. "So how old am I?" I asked. "You're still 15 honey." Said my mother. "But...3 years already had passed in my dream. I drowned in my dream at 18." I whispered. "You drowned because you woke up. After we ate lunch, we came home...I took a nap and I woke up...I was in your room. All of a sudden I walked toward the balcony, seeing you surf and I jumped off of the balcony uncontrollably and here I am. I woke up last week. But you didn't see any of that because our endings were different...now that I know how you woke up." Said Natalie. "I love you all. I miss you all." I said. "We love and miss you." Said Ryan. As is sat there still confused. So everything was only a dream? "I never got to meet Demi..." I whispered. "What'd you just say?" Said my father. "I met Demi with Ryan while going to the concert and before the concert. After you guys died and I was no longer in contact with Kian, Melinda, or Sunshine." I said. "Well, I don't know if you know but we got you tickets and meet and greet passes...to see Demi Lovato." Said my father. "Really? Are you guys going to Europe? If so, don't go...don't leave me alone." I said. "We won't leave you...we'll never. Not like today or tomorrow or even next year. Especially when you're like this." Said my mother. "Thank you all for being here. I miss and love you all. The Augustice family, you guys...I really did miss you guys as I thought that if that was only a dream. You guys wouldn't even exist!" I said. "We love you." Said Julie.

2 years later, Juliet was 17. She got to meet Demi finally. Someone whom she dreamed of meeting, someone whom helped her, she finally met her! As for the dream, it really was only a dream. Nothing was true...
