「ONESHOT」- SICK

if the topic of heart failiure is triggering to you, please do not read. bare with me, i don't know that much about heart failure. :(

Heart failiure, a deadly medical condition that [Y/N] [L/N] happened to develop.

This unfortunate pain came to her when she was aged thirteen, when her heart first failed.

Ever since then, she has been suffering continuously, in hospital, for two years all alone. She never thought she'd be able to smile or feel happiness again, until she met Izuku Midoriya.

This adorable boy accidentally walked into the wrong hospital room -when he was apparently visiting one of his friends since a villain had apparently attacked recently, and he was in hospital- this room was [Y/N]'s room.

Izuku apologised quickly and asked where the room he was looking for was. She told him the directions and he shot off, clearly embarrassed.

About thirty minutes afterwards, the same boy came back with an apologetic face, he came back to say thank you. The two formed a conversation and they became friends almost immediately.

After that, Izuku came visiting every day and after about a month, he asked [Y/N] to be his girlfriend and she of course said yes, despite knowing her sickness. [Y/N] was rather insecure at first but he cheered her up as usual. She was ever so thankful.

That's how the two came to have such a strong relationship.

They both loved each other dearly, her condition never getting in the way of their relationship.

He slept in the hospital bed with her, brought her gifts, gave her cuddles, held her hand, brushed away her tears, made her smile in the dark times, he was the light of her life...until that eventful day.

——[8:43PM, 2-A DORMITORY]——

"And then he went boom, pow, woosh! And the bad guy was-"

"Midoriya!"

The class turned to see a somewhat sad Aizawa-sensei burst through the dormitory door. That was one of the first times he had ever looked so desperate and had such a saddened tone.

The greenette appeared confused as he approached Aizawa-sensei, leaving his group of friends and a disappointed Uraraka because she couldn't finish her story.

"W-what is it Aiza-"

"It's your...girlfriend."

"H-huh? [Y/N]? Wait don't tell me...no no no..."

"I'm sorry. I just received a call from the hospital and-"

"P-please let me be excused. I have to see her! What if she isn't okay? I can't let her leave me without saying goodbye! No. She can't leave me anyways. We've only been together for a year. I promised-"

"Its fine Midoriya, you can go."

With that, the worried, greenette activated his quirk and ran through the hallways, tears building up in his large eyes.

"Please be okay. Please be okay. Please be okay. Please be okay..."

Everyone in class 2-A knew how special this [Y/N] [L/N] was to their dear friend Midoriya. He ranted on about her the same way he did heroes! Everybody was worried for the boy since they all knew of her condition.
