(Art is not by me)

Error sat alone in his home, the Anti-void, and struggled with a decision that he actually decided to make centuries ago. He knew that he had to do it, he knew there wasn't any other way. But it still hurt too much to think about it.

He thought back to what he've done, how many lives, universes he've destroyed. There wasn't any forgiveness, not for a murderer like him. There wasn't any love for someone like him.

And still, he hang onto the days when it was different, when he loved and someone loved him. But now, this person he once was was a long forgotten shadow, a voice in his mind that mocked him on every occasion. That gave him grief and regret for what he knew was right.

He had to get rid of it.

He nodded, finally being strong, no, DETERMINED enough to do what had to be done. He took a deep breath that he actually didn't need, but it felt good and calmed him down a bit before he took his SOUL out.

It was something that actually didn't deserve to be called that, it was a white, glitching piece of magic that wasn't even a heart. It was the 1/9 of a SOUL, the last thing that still remained from his past self and even his former universe. He made sure to destroy that abomination just after he found out how to get out of the Ani-void.

Even after destroying his alternative, the SOUL still stayed in its former shape. The reason why he didn't die back then were the glitches around his own piece. He and Sans became two too different individuals, even more than before and that was the final end of the never-ending loop of his universe.

He was glad to finally have achieved his goal, what he tried to do since thousands of resets.

Error wrapped his strings around the SOUL and pulled until red and white substance started to leak out of it, landing on the 'floor'. He hissed at the pain that flowed through him but didn't stop before the drops of DETERMINATION and SOUL essence created a puddle to his feet.

He let the SOUL go, but the blue strings around it hold it place and he moved it to the ground, into the puddle. The glitches got soaked with the substance and became pinkish. He made them bigger, into screens and each screen showed a different scene.

A skeleton sat alone in the never-ending darkness of the safes screen, white clothes, a red slash of a blade on his chest and a melting skull. He was on the edge of death, but still not there. He spent hundreds of years in that state and watched as his friends, family got killed over and over and over again.

He tried to save them once upon a time, tried to destroy the world they lived in so that they didn't have to live in that loop anymore. But in the end, even he gave up hope and decided to stop.

Another screen, but this time a new person besides the white skeleton appeared in the void.

A battle that went on for hours, possibly even days. Geno fought against the one in the black robe with all he had, not wanting to live anymore but the DETERMINATION didn't allow him to go down without a fight.

The next screen showed Geno and Reaper again.

The two leaned back-to-back and told each other puns, knock-knock-jokes and so much more for hours. That scenario repeated for months and they grew more and more familiar. Reaper loved to annoy Geno, flirting and causing him to blush, but as the time went on, Geno found that he got more flustered than annoyed by the god and that that didn't bother him much anymore.

Right next to it, the screen was more a picture than a short video.

It felt like this moment lasted for an eternity, like the time stopped right and there. Geno melted and leaned into Reaper, who wrapped his arms around his waist. Slowly, he wrapped his arms around Reaper's neck as well, pressing more into him.
