{Shuichis POV}
"Its been a month since we've been here, hoped peak we'll be staying here for our whole lives training with kaito and maki has really made me feel better about my situation. Of course i still hang out with Kaede. it still shocks me, You know, the whole gofer project. I wonder what mom would say if she found out i caught feelings for a guy? well i cant dwell on that since their dead. My friends, My family, everyone. well its time to go train with kaito and maki now.

"Hey Shuichi!" Kaito was there waiting.
"Oh hi Kaito!" something felt off but i didn't think about it,
"Thought i should tell you Maki roll isn't coming" Kaito said " since Maki isn't here i thought we could do some stargazing since you've been working so hard!"
(we both laid down on the grass next to each other)
*Im blushing like crazy, what is this feeling? i want to tell him i love him but im too scared-*
"The stars look really pretty today kaito." I cant believe i said that- what if he finds out?!
"Oh really?" he asked "theres barely any out though"
"But there is!"* i pointed to the first one i saw in a panic*
"Shuichi get up" *he held out his hand so i could grab it so i did*
"Why have we gotten up?" *I asked*
"Shuichi-" *he put his hand on my back to comfort me* "You ok? You've been acting weird today"
"I uh- how do i say this." I looked at him "I think i-" I was interrupted by Kaito
"Dont worry the feelings mutual!" He said clearly not knowing what I was going to say
"No thats not what I mean-" i paused "Kaito I think I love you-" It took awhile but i managed to say it
"Shuichi..." he let go of my back and said "I don't mind being with you but we gotta keep this a secret, Ok?"
"Kaito, thank you." *I hugged him then kissed him on the cheek lightly* "We better get to bed before Kokichi and Rantaro have their 'Midnight Stroll' "
(i should tell you that kokichi and rantaro are dating)
"Oh yeah-" me and Kaito walked back to our rooms
