As I reached the school gates, I saw a familliar face.

it seems she was waiting for someone.

Myco perhaps.

"Den!" I shouted, with a huge smile on my face.

She was surprised and came to me in hurry.

She jump towards me and hug me.

Bestfriend okay? Bestfriend.. I reminded myself.

"Hey Ly, lemme tell you something.."

She wacked my shoulder, as she did before.

"What is i-- Hey, why are you early today?"

"Waiting for someone?"

"Waiting for.... Myco?" I added.

"It's alright Den.."

"I'm happy for you.."

God, I'm old blooded...

Am I really that deperate to move on?

"No, Ly that's not --."

My phone rang

"Hey, where are you? I'm at school!"

I smiled.

It was Sheila.

"Hey Den, I'll go on ahead okay?"

And then I answered Sheila back...

"Hey, I'm about to go to my classroom." I replied.

I then walked away from Den.

I didn't know why, but from that short time I talked with Den...

We're back to normal.

"Ly, wait. I need to tell you something."

"Don't be surprised, Sheila said."

My heart beat faster.

The suspense is killing me.

"Yeah? What'd she say?"

Dennise giggled.

"Oh Ly, you never changed."

"I guess she'll have to tell you personally then."

I was dumbfounded.

Sheila really did came to me.

And she really did ask the question.

"Hey sleepy head, I love you. Do you believe me now?"

"Wait, I think this is going a bit too fast."

"Alyssa, just tell me you believe, I'll be okay."

After that statement, she smiled.

That killer smile yet again...

That same smile that made me look her straight to the eye.

That same smile that made me smile back.

That same smile that made me decide at that instant.

I must admit, I like her too.

I mean, she's everything I wanted

How could I not want her?

"So, do you believe?"

"Ye, Sheila ,I do"

This is what Den probably wanted for me as well.

"Best friends forever right?"
