Taehyung and I have been in a relationship for two years, and within those two years, we could say that we are meant to be with each other. We met at a coffee shop where he worked as a barista, when I asked what he recommends, he told me he doesn't like coffee and only works there because Namjoon-hyung owns the café. Today, as we celebrate our second anniversary, we decided to go to the park and feed the ducks because he told me that it is his ideal date.
"When you graduate, I want us to get married and have children." He shared as he threw some shrimp to the ducks.
I smiled, knowing that he is thinking of our future. "How many children do you want?" I asked.
"Five. If not, then three." He answered, "I want a big family. If that is okay with you."
"Whatever makes you happy would be my happiness as well. So we'll see in the future how many children we are meant to have." I replied and looked afar.
Imagining a life with Taehyung and us being married with kids is not difficult. It is something that I am excited to see. I couldn't wait til graduation.
"There's only 3 months until graduation. So we'll get married soon. Get ready mister." I joked then chuckled
He laughed before saying that he couldn't wait. After our date, we went to my apartment. He wanted to stay over for the night and end the day, our anniversary, together.
As we laid on the bed, I wrapped my arms around him as he caressed my head. Silence filled the room, but it wasn't empty because of his presence.
"I wrote you a song." He whispered, breaking the silence.
"What song?" I asked.
"I call it Winter Bear." He answered
"Why Winter Bear?" I asked, curious about why he opted for that title.
He just smiled and said, "Just because."
"Can you sing it for me then?" I asked and yawned.
He kissed my temple before he started singing the song, and soon, I drifted to sleep.
The next days were filled with Taehyung singing his song to me, which helps me fall asleep. He would often visit me and wait until I fall asleep. Moving in to my apartment is not an option because he knew that my older brother, Jin, would not allow it.
Jin-hyung is taking care of our family's company and is visiting the different branches. Whenever he is in town, he would stay over my apartment so that we can have our sibling quality time. It was a relief that he approved of my relationship with Taehyung.
AFTER A MONTH
Taehyung is an aspiring musician that's why he travels over town to sing in restaurants or events, while I am here in Seoul finishing my degree with my best friend, Jungkook.
Taehyung gets jealous whenever he sees Jungkook and I together. Although the two are friends as well, he confessed that he is afraid I'd choose Jungkook since he is with me in university. I laughed at his jealousy over our friend.
While Taehyung was out of town, we make sure to have our daily video calls to catch up about what happened for the day. He said he will be performing at a restaurant before he comes back to town. The day before he arrives, Jin-hyung came to town and stayed with me.
"Y/N, you need to prepare for life after college. It's not always rainbows and butterflies okay?" Jin-hyung told me while we are having dinner. I nodded and then he continued, "how's your relationship with Taehyung?"
"It's going well. He's coming home tomorrow." I answered.
"That's great. I'll see you guys tomorrow after I visit Namjoon." He replied.
Namjoon-hyung and Jin-hyung are best friends, I grew up with him as well and know how much they missed each other for not seeing one another in person for 4 months.
THE NEXT DAY, after classes
"Y/N, would you like to grab some ice cream with me?" Jungkook asked.
"As long as it's free." I answered with a laugh. He chuckled before gathering our books and left the university.
Jungkook and I became close during our first year in college, when I didn't know where my classroom is. Luckily, I bumped into him and turned out to be one of my classmates. That's how we ended up being desk mates and instantly becoming best friends.
Initially, I thought Jungkook would be my lover in college since we were together everyday. However, destiny made Taehyung and I meet in the university. He was my senior and the theater club president.
