It's been a week after my encounter with Eric. I didn't join the choir even though he tried all he could to persuade me.
I've been attending reading rehearsals and they're impressed with my performance so far, because of that, I've started reading at church both for Sundays and Weekdays.
'I didn't know that reading at church meant you have to be there almost everyday.' I complained to Nancy.
'What did you expect? You applied for that and it's better because you've become a church girl now. I'm even surprised you've stopped clubbing.' She said laughing at my plight.
'I guess it's good in a way, at least my transportation fare has been saved.' I said laughing along with her.
