After the incident, reading has been great so far. I also get compliments after every mass.
Some people even request that I read at their functions. So basically, I was gradually becoming known.
'Sister Bernice please give us a closing prayer to end our rehearsal for the night.' Brother. Matt requested.
The prayer was said and we all parted ways. It was late so I was by the roadside about to board a taxi instead of the bus I usually board.
'Which direction are you headed to?' someone asked from beside me. I turned to see a car stopped by my side.
I got closer only to realize it's the priest.
