Adam and Eve.

Part 23

You awake in haze to unfamiliar dark surrounding encoding you in it's ominous arms. You struggle to sit up. Hearing footsteps coming towards you.

" Don't worry my dear, it's just me~" Jim's voice called, although it sounded strangely muffled. You look around, trying to make sense of the pitch- black bedroom.

" Where are you?" You try to feel the bed around you but don't find anything except the soft blanket. " How was today after I went to sleep? Did you find more of your men?" You try to make small talk.

"..Don't worry, everything is under control." You hear his pants drop seconds after he undid his belt. Feeling him clime into the warm bed sheets to wrap his arms around you.

Time skip: Middle of the night.

You wake up to a rattling sound. You don't move, just preserve as your hearing is hightend in fear. You see a figure in the shadows. Your heard is allergy pounding.

You look as the person is looking around for something. But they don't notice you are awake.

You barely make out the person but you see them holding something. The bag...The bag the machine is in. You hear a paper sound. They take it and put the bag down.

But they make a little sound when dropping it. Shit, they are now looking at your and Jim's direction. They know you are in the room.

Probably didn't want to wake you up. But then you realize they are taking the map? How did they know it was there... You stop your self and say: you don't care, its just a dream, and you are overtired.

You close your eyes. Hearing the person leave the room. Ahh, thank god. After a while, you drifted off again in Jim's arms.

Time skip: In the morning.

As for you wake up you cant find them. You cant see Jim in the bed and the map in the bag. You are now fully dressed. Looking for the map. But it's not in the bag anymore. You worry that the person at night that you saw was there and had taken it. You think that you might need the map again. You don't know around this place and a map will be still in use.

With Jim not in site. You think...I mean you can always go back in time. You just take the map before the person gets to it.

That means you can even find out who it was.

You think... probably it's a bad idea. You don't want to mess with time like that. But there's so much to learn. Curiosity gets better off you.

It will be dark but still, you don't want to be seen by the person who took it. So you get some black closes on.

When you ready you take the machine and walk to the bathroom. Don't want to wake your self up. You look at the machine. There are numbers and buttons. You press the date of yesterday. 16/07/2011 and then time. You don't know when they came in but you guessing around 2 am. You think what to do next but then you overthink what did the feature you do to it. Ohh she turned it.

So you turned it and it goes lighter and lighter. YES, you got it. It's working. You close your eyes and the next minute you open them again. You are in a dark bathroom. Thank god no one was using the toilet at this time of night. That would've been embarrassing.

You get out of the bathroom. Now in the corridor. You see no one so you move to your room. You slowly open the door.

Your steps were silent as you ghosted across the room, approaching the door frame.

But when you do the black cat walks in, No. She walks in and jumps on the table where Jim's work papers are dropping them on the ground.

Shit.

You take the cat and throw it out of the room and close the door.

You need to clean the mess. Jim will kill the cat if he sees this. You take the papers and try to put them back with trying to be as quiet as possible.

Making a bit of rattling. You think you will wake up soon when the person walks in so you better be quick by taking the map. You try to find the bag in the darkroom. You take a bit off time but you find it.

You take it and you see the map. You take it but when you put the bag down again you make a bit off the noise. You should get out of the room now. You walk out with the map in hand.

Ok what now, Do you wait? You think to your self and then it hits you. What an idiot.

You just played yourself. It was you who took the map and made you wake up. Ohh well. What's done is done. You walk back into the bathroom and you take the machine out. Time to go back to the present. With one quick turn, there is light again and buff. You guessing you are back in the present day.

You flush the toilet and pretend to walk out of there. Walking back n your room. Hiding the bag where the machine and the map is.

With that, you walk out of your room and walk down to get something to eat. You hop down and see everybody is out of bed.

You walk to the kitchen and look around. You see Jim sipping on his morning tea and he has his papers on the table. "What's for breakfast, I'm starving," You say in a fun manner. He looks up from his paperwork. "Someone has an appetite" You grin as you spread some Pâté on some bread. You demolish the breakfast with a few bites.

You get close to Jim and kiss him on the lips. He looks shocked by your sudden action. Meanwhile, everybody has stopped what they doing and looked at you. Jim's face is red. He then fixes his posture and snaps his fingers, and everybody gets with their business.

You smile like an idiot and walk away with the biggest grin on your face. Time for your morning walk again.
