Adam and Eve.

Part 30

Authors note: Omg it's been a year. I stopped the story because I was not feeling it. Wow. The last thing I wrote was in July 2020. It's August 2021. I saw that people were enjoying it so I'm trying to carry on hopefully.

The old man then walked to Jim. Putting his hand in the bag. Taking out the machine. "Sadly, our time has passed." he turns the machine and hands it to Jim, walking away. Jim still holding you in his arms. "No.." you scream out. He can't do that. There is still so much to know. Everything goes very light again until you are in the room alone with Jim. "We should get back to the house," he said by letting you free from his arms and taking your hand. 

Time skip: back in the hideout. 

Most of the way back you did not say anything and neither did Jim. Both are still shocked by all the 'you being pregnant' and the 'old man who is weird. But, back in the house, you had still things to do. 

"So how you feeling about all the.. you know" Jim broke the silent room when sitting down with you on the bed.

"Yeah, I guess I need some time to, you know take it all in." he nods. He then puts his hand on your stomach. Rubbing in gently.  "Have you thought of any names yet?" he gives out small laughter but it's very weak. 

You keep your head down low. "no" you then look up to him. "Jim, I'm scared." he rubs his hands together. "me too"

The moment is broken by Chuck who walks in and knocks lightly, clearly not wanting to break your two's moment. 

Jim gets up and fixes his clothes. " Yes Chuck? " he lets the worried guy in. " Sir, we have a small problem outside. " Jim looks at you, and you give a nod of approval to go do his job. They both runoff.

Leaving you all alone in the room when all of a sudden the black cat turns up. You stand up and pick the cat up. Sitting back down you gently pet it and try to think.

" Oh dear, I'm so lost, little one. I don't know what to do anymore. My whole world in the past few weeks have been turned upside down. "
The cat lifts its head as you pet the cute little thing. It puts its head back down.

With that, you do the same. You carefully lay down and rest your head on the bed covers. As you start closing your eyes. Someone walks in. You think you are to sleep to look but curiosity gets better of you. When you opened your eyes you are greeted with nice soft brown eyes. A smile creeps up from your mouths. " Jim. What was the problem? "

he sits next to you and taking the sleeping cat off your lap and drops the cat on the ground. The cat just walks off.
" Why did you do that for?"

Jim just looked around. " I don't want the cat having the habit of thinking it can just walk in and do as it pleases. Coming into my room. Leaving hair everywhere. It needs to know its place. " you hold your hands in your face as you rub. " mmmm ok"

" Hey stay with me. Don't fall asleep. We still have to talk about what we gonna do. " you let your hands fall on the side of you. Turning around away from him to try to ignore what he just said about sleep.
" I think the first thing we should do is but the map where it was in the past for past me to find it. That would make sure nothing bad would happen. I don't want to make a wrong move"

You mumble as half of your face is hiding in the covers. Jim doesn't say anything. Probably thinking.
" what we gonna do with them... you know" your eyes are open now. " keep it obviously"

You turn around to face him.
He looks down " yeah I know but... They said it's the reason all thats is happening. What if the only way to stop it is to..." He looked down at you and makes eye contact. " No, there must be another way. We can stop this. I promise you. "

Jim then gets out of bed " Get up." you get up as he says. He walks our of the room and you follow, wondering where he is taking you. He orders you to put outside stuff on and you do.

You two walk out of the hide-out. You notice it's dark. The sun has disappeared with only a small light only showing what's left of it. Jim still keeps walking. Passing some trees. You see a small hill and he is taking you towards it. So when you get on top of it you see a small bench.

" sit down " Jim say as you do and he sits right next to you. You looks around. " Jim I didn't know this was here "  He didn't say anything but takes out his phone and checks something. You look up to the sky and see few stars forming.
Jim breaks the silence.

" Remember the fire? It didn't do much damage. Nothing got lost that was already backed up. Most of the damage building took as been already prepared. We going back tomorrow"
