(Akaike's POV)
After killing all those officers, I picked up Paige's body and carried it all the way back to the mansion. By the time I had finally arrived, the sun was beginning to rise and the shine made me want to throw up.
I kicked front door open after walking through the campus and saw Charles just looking at me in horror. I would too If I had saw a monster covered in blood carrying a girl who happened to be one of the best students in the building. Without saying anything, I just carried her to her room as the whole world around me fell apart. My body was so numb that I couldn't feel anything. Any sound in my ears was nonexistent and I just wanted to rip my own heart out. It was already broken; bleeding.
Placing her body down onto the bed, I just looked around her room and saw what was suppose to be our night, turned into a tomb of who Paige Holloway was.
I slowly backed away from her body laying on her bed and had bumped into an object, making a familiar sound to my ears. I turned around and saw her cello sitting on its stand. Tears instantly fell out of my eyes and I slowly reached my shaking hand and plucked the string, playing one last note on her cello, before running off.
That was the last time I saw her. I didn't attend her funeral. It would've been too much. and til this day, I carry guilt for what happened. The whole situation could've been averted if I had been smart and just didn't try to bring her into my life.
Now it was her life that was taken. And my life to live with that fact.
