"Hey (Y/n), do you need any help?" The timid green haired man asked with concern at your doorway. It had been a few hours since the shopping trip with Prosciutto, he kept his promise and had drilled you into the mattress. You enjoyed it when it happened, but the day coming to a close with all this added stress to your body made everything scream in protest. You glanced up at your teammate, he was the sweetest out of all of them.

A quick smile in his direction made him beam. "Yeah actually, I'm kinda hungry."

"Do you need help to walk?" He asked as he hovered around your door, indecisive on his own at whether he should go or stay. You thought it over for a moment, debating if you wanted to stay in your room any longer. You could sense your green-haired companion growing nervous at your lack of response and decided to come to a conclusion to avoid any breakdowns.

"Uhm... y-yeah, I do. If you wouldn't mind, that is." Pesci quickly calmed at your response and a small smile overtook his usually anxious features. It was surprising how smoothly he stepped over to gently wrap an arm around your waist to guide you off the bed and out the door.

You squeaked when your legs shook under your weight and nearly buckled. Pesci tightened his grip as your bottom half fell limp and let out a concerned hum. Before you could really say anything he had wrapped another arm under your knees and scooped you into a princess carry.

You were partially dumbfounded at this new boldness, until you looked at his intensely red face at carrying you so close. Sparingly, you made the decision to keep quiet about how flustered he was. Swiftly and gently Pesci placed you on the empty couch in the living room, scurrying away to grab you snacks and drinks. You watched in quiet content as he scrutinized the selections in the cupboards and fridge, walking back over with his arms filled.

"Hey Pesci, I can get up and-"

"No. You're not gonna be able to do much so just rest, okay? Fratello should know better than to treat you so roughly." He was somewhat fierce in his response, something you had never seen before from him. He had a stern look on his face, and strangely enough it was attractive in it's own way. He busied himself with assorting the snacks and drinks he brought on the coffee table, quickly searching for a blanket and the tv remote.

You couldn't help but giggle at his affection, he was always so timid and this was a surprising but welcome change of pace. Once he had you situated and comfortable the stuttery attitude crept back in. "S-so anyways now that you're all comfortable I'll just be going I g-guess..."

Before he could slip away you reached out to grab his hand. He stiffened at the contact and look at you in shock. "Pesci... stay?" You didn't really know what else to say, his presence was comforting to you and you wanted someone to hold you in this moment. A myriad of emotions flew across his face before he settled on one, nervous gratitude. Carefully, almost as if he would break you, he sat next to you on the sofa.

You leaned your head against his shoulder as you channel surfed, settling on a dry fantasy show. At first your mammoni was stiff, unsure if he was allowed to touch you. But as the cuddling went on he relaxed and wrapped an arm around you, the two of you feeding eachother small snacks and sips of soda as the evening turned to night. Soon enough you had fallen asleep on Pesci, content and warm in your blanket cocoon.

Pesci's eyes were closed, the sounds of your soft breathing lulled him into a half-sleep trance. Even though he wasn't the tallest, you were so small against his body. He failed to tell you today what his true feelings were, but hopefully his actions had spoken for him. You were so... perfect. There was something about you that sent his head reeling. At first he had been nervous when Illuso and Risotto had brought you in, your intended purpose much too crude for his liking.

And yet, you were so strong willed and so brave, so powerful and lovely. Just like everyone else he had caught feelings, possibly even love. Who knew? It surely wasn't his place to assume such a powerful emotion.

Pesci heard footsteps, soft and quiet. The way they moved had a bit of sway to it, almost catlike. Oh, that's Melone. Of course, the lavender haired man was a bit much at times but even he had a soft side. Pesci refused to open his eyes and encourage a disturbance, he was too comfortable and he wanted to let you sleep. It was late, wasn't it? What he heard surprised him, but made his heart glow all the same.

"Ah, good job Pesci. Even a mammoni can be brave, I hope you got to tell her what you wanted. Either way, as long as she's happy then I am too."

Melone's smooth voice was barely a whisper, a soft hum in the dim light. Just as quietly as he came he left, the gentle tip-tap of his shoes sounded down the hallway. Pesci breathed a heavy sigh of content. Yeah, he was pretty brave. He could be brave any time he was with you, that's what love did, right?
