"August I don't think I can do this anymore." I said throwing my hands up . This is the second time August has cheated on me with the same chick.

"Zakia baby, listen. It was a mistake ok, baby you know I never want to hurt you. Please don't take my girl away from me."

"A mistake really August, this is the SECOND time you've cheated on me, AND WITH THE SAME BITCH." I screamed.

I placed our daughter Mya in the backseat of my BMW, and walked back into the house with August hot on my tail.

"Look, the first time I wasn't thinking straight ight? The second time I was drunk.And she offered to take me home." He pleaded.

I put my hand up to keep him from talking. "I don't wanna hear it August." I sad grabbing my already packed suitcase.

"Just listen Zakia." He asked pulling my arm. "What?" I said snatching way from him.

he cleared his throat,"Girl I know sometimes that I mistreat ya, and ya sill come back. And I see ya home girls trynna reach ya, but you ain't hearin' none of that. They try ta get through , they say I ain't the move I don't know cause girl it might be true when they tell ya you should walk away , but you sttay anyway. "

"What are you trynna prove August?" I asked snatching my hand away from him, "Girl I think it's best for me to say this, I ain't no good." He continued.

I shrugged,"I know that already." I said ."And ya heart ain't somethin' I should play wit." He started.

"You already did that." I started to walk out, but he grabbed my arm. "So let's get it unda'stood , I ain't trynna ruin yo life ,If anything I just wanna make it right." He sang.

"Well, too late cause it's over I'm getting a divorce Anthony." I said snatching away walking outside. He followed behind me, and he pushed me lightly up against the car hood.

"And tell the judge I ain't even gotta plead my case, I can tell my baby to her face . See I was just ya nigga next door and girl I see more for you . And you ain't gotta have no fear, no I'll always be there for you Girl I'm here for you,And I know you may not end up with me, it ain't gotta be me,Cause I'm still playing outchea in these streets , But I'm just saying , You deserve better, I'm saying, you deserve better." He sung backing away walking into the house.

I looked down at the ground, and started crying. "How could this happen." I said to myself. I got into the car, slamming the door and driving off.

Did I really deserve better?
