~Chapter 7~

Next morning...

Katelyn's POV

          The strangest thing happened last night. For a few minutes, Travis was having a terrible headache and the next you know, its gone. I kinda find it a bit suspicious so I told Aph and Lucinda to come back today.

I made Travis sit downon our bed and rest for a bit while Aph, Lucinda and I tried to examine him a bit. And when I mean that, I meant just watching him and see how he's doing.

"Katelyn, I'm fine. My head doesn't hurt anymore."

"I know, but its just...strange." I said.

"Katelyn's right, Travis." Lucinda agreed and continued,

"Headaches like those with high-pitched ringing seems to be a bit odd. They usually take atleast an hour or two for them to disappear but yours... It just disappeared in a quick second."

"So what are you saying? Am I under some random spell or am I being possesed again??" Travis worriedly questioned.

"We're still not sure, but we'll find out soon." Aphmau said.

He nodded and the three of us went out of the room to have a private conversation.

"His headaches aren't any old headaches. They don't seem to be something doctors can help." Lucinda said.

"Are you saying they have something to do with magic??" Aphmau asked.

"I guess so. I'm powerless now, so I really can't see what's wrong with him. But maybe there's something in my book that can help."

"I hope so, I'm really worried about him." I said.

"Don't worry Katelyn, I'm sure this will be cured through potions or something like that. You just gotta stay positive, okay?" Aphmau said.

I nodded and replied, "Y-Yeah, you're right. Thanks Aphmau, thanks Lucinda."

"No problem Katelyn. So far, it seems Travis is okay. Just look out for him just in case." Lucinda said.

"Will do."
       
They both nodded and left.

I returned back to the room where Travis is in and saw that he had a worried look.

"W-What did they say?"

"Lucinda said she's gonna check her spellbook to see if there are any potions that can help you."

"Thats good to know."

"Yeah. For now, I'm just gonna keep an eye on you to make sure you're okay."

He nodded and kissed my hand.

"Don't worry Katelyn, I'm sure none of this is too serious."

"But you getting hurt is serious for me. Whether if its just a simple headache or just a little scar, I don't want you to get hurt. It just only reminds me of you from Starlight."

I felt a tear rolled down my cheek and Travis noticed it. I tilted my head down as memories of holding Travis' almost-dead body started flowing.

My head was then lifted by Travis' finger and he smiled at me.

He hugged me and I hugged him back.

I know I'm too emotional and that I'm taking this too far but what if this was serious? W-What if something bad happens to him?

Lucinda's POV

          I left Travis' and Katelyn's house and went to my house to find my spellbook. Once I found it, I flipped through the pages and tried to find a what his headaches mean.

I kept mumbling names of spells that weren't even the ones that I needed to find and tried to search the one I needed.

Then, a spell caught my eye. A time-travelling spell.

I remember practicing these kind of spells before but I never dared to even think about time-travelling. Who knows what could happen when you change one specific thing? Possible chance that it could change whatever is in the future.

I thought about reading a little a bit of this spell, then a certain description about this caight me off guard.

When a person time travels back in time, it is forbidden to go anywhere near a family relative of yours especially if he or she is a magic user such as a witch, warlock or has atleast has a bit of magic inside that person.

That relative who is a magic user or has magic inside them may experience severe headaches and uncontrollable high-pitched ringing if a relatice of theirs goes near them.

"Woah woah woah wait.... Does that mean... a relative of Travis time-travelled back in time?? But...w-who is this person?? Although wait, Travis isn't really a magic user. He's a human.... so how can he experience these headaches??" I asked myself.

Sadly, there isn't really a cure for this. But there is still something I have to find out: How does Travis have magic in him?

I can't tell this to anyone, not even Katelyn nor Travis. Maybe I can tell this Aphmau? Ugh, I'm not sure. I don't even know who's this relative!

I slammed my book closed as I tried to think. So many questions filled my head more and more.

I went to my room and laid down on my bed as I stared at the ceiling. More questions keep coming in my head but were then interrupted by someone screaming,

"TRAVIS!"

I instantly got up and head to where that screaming was. It kinda sounded like Dante.

I wemt to Dante's house as fast as I could and saw that almost everyone in the house.

I then moved a bit to get in the front and saw that Travis was on the floor as his hands were on his head and he was screaming in pain.

Katelyn then ran to Travis' side and placed him in her arms.

"T-Travis! W-What happened Dante?!" I saw tears were forming in her eyes as she looked up to Dante.

"W-We were just hanging out for a bit until all of a sudden he collapsed." Dante explained.

Travis kept hypervetilating as he kept screaming more and more.

The family relative of his must be really near to us right now, making him be in more pain than he was last night.
