~Chapter 37~

Travis' POV 

          I kept running towards Jeffory's house in fast pace but I still wasn't as near as I thought it would be. That's when I mentally smacked myself as I realized my stupidity.

Bruh, I literally can just teleport. What the heck is wrong with me?

I stopped running and mumbled the words for the spell. I wasn't sure if I was gonna be able to nail it since teleportation was still something that needed to be worked on for me.

As I finished the spell, I eventually appeared somewhere. 

The first thing I saw was Katelyn in a chair bleeding so much from almost her entire body. That was when I saw another person standing in front of her. She has bloody hands and a few blood stains on her clothing.

Leila.

 "Travis! I didn't know you were gonna be here, my love."

"Drop the act, Leila. You trying to kill my girlfriend is not gonna make me fall in love with you."

"Killing your girlfriend? What, you mean this piece of garbage right here?"

That hit me hard so much that I pinned her to a wall using my magic. 

"Don't you dare call Katelyn like that." I said as I got closer to Leila.

"Aww but you know you love m-" I punched her making her bottom lip bleed. I couldn't stand her anymore, she was annoying as ever this has got to stop right here right now.

"B-But I'm doing all this for our love, Travis!!! WE WERE MEANT TO BE TOGETHER, NOT KATELYN!!!"

"I NEVER LIKED YOU!!! DON'T JUST THINK THAT YOU WILL GET A CHANCE WITH ME EVEN THOUGH YOU WON'T. This is why I don't like you: you're selfish, mean and a brat who thinks that she can get what she wants!"

She then got out and trapped me now.

"I am going to make sure you won't even think about her once I erase her from your memories!!!!! And finally, we can live happily together." She said as she held up her hand and slowly moved it to my forehead.

I didn't know how to get out. I tried to think of way to escape but no idea has popped in my head. I guess this was gonna be the end on my relationship with Kat-

KABLAM!!!!!!!! (Yes I'm using sound effects XD)

What the hell just happned? 

One minute, Leila was about to do the scariest thing that she has done to me and the next, I see her knocked out on the ground as if she got by someone or something. Her getting knocked out must've also stopped the spell which means I'm free.

I moved to Katelyn's side as I untie her.

She fell in my arms and I just kissed her cold forehead.

"Everything's gonna be okay Katelyn, I'm here now."

I also noticed Jeffory sleeping on the ground. He doesn't look like as if he got hit but rather just fell asleep probably because of Leila.

Which reminds me, how did Leila get magical powers? My thoughts were then interrupted when I saw Aphmau and Lucinda coming into the house.

"Guys?" I said.

"Travis!!!" They both said in unison as they hugged me.

"Oh my Irene Katelyn!!" Aphmau yelled.

Tears started forming in both their eyes.

We then heard Jeffory yawning. Qe all looked at him as he stretched.

"What happe- Katelyn!!!"

He quickly went to her and hugged her.

"Wait, where's Abby?"

"She's at the hospital." I answered.

"Is she okay?"

The three of us nodded and Jeffory sighed in relief.

"Lets get her to the hospital." Lucinda said.

Aph and I nodded and carried her to Aaron's car.

We then drove off to the Hospital.

          The four of us were just sitting at waiting area to see if Katelyn was alright. I was the one mostly worried. She was already worried enough about me being hurt, I didn't want to be the one in pain.

A doctor came in with Abby.

"Daddy!!" Abby ran to Jeffory in excitement.

"Abby! I miss you so much." He hugged her daughter and she hugged back.

"Will Auntie Katelyn be okay?"

"I hope so..she really bleeding a lot amd we're just hoping nothing else goes wrong."

I couldn't help but think that what if Katelyn could be dead. What if Leila did such a hard impact to Katelyn that I might never see her again?

I was mentally panicking but I had try to stay calm.

"Hey guys, we need to tell you something." Lucinda started.

Jeffory, Abby and I looked at them in confused looks.

"So you guys know that Jeffory's mom was Leila right?"

"Yes..?" We said in unison.

"Where's my real mother?" Jeffory asked.

"She's at my house with Aaron and the others."

"How did you guys know that we needed you both at Jeffory's house?" I asked.

"We felt like something was up and we decided to check on Jeffory until we found you with Leila. So then I used a spell that to knock her out." Lucinda explained.

"But where is she now??" I asked.

"Don't worry, she's gonna be no where near us." Aph smiled.

I then smiled back knowing that I don't have to deal with her anymore.

Yet I was still panicking and worrying in my head. Even though Leila won't be bothering Katelyn, my friends and I anymore, I was still worried that Katelyn won't make it.

I then felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned my head and saw it was Jeffory.

"Don't worry Travis, I'm sure Katelyn will be alright."

I smiled, "I sure hope so."

Just then, a doctor came in from Katelyn's room.

I quickly stood up and asked, "H-How is she doc?"

"From all the bruises and bleeding she has, Katelyn luckily survived."

We all sighed in relief to yhe good news.

"Although, she has to stay here for about a month until all her wounds are healed and fixed."

"May we go see her?" Aph asked.

"Yes but only one person can."

They all looked at me.

"You should go Travis." Lucinda said.

"You guys sure?" I asked them.

They all nodded and I smiled.

I followed the doctor to Katelyn's room as I see her laying in bed.

"She still hasn't woken up yet buy she will soon. I'll leave you two be." He said.

"Thank you doctor."

He smiled and nodded as he left the room.
