98°F - Human

"WHERE IS HE?!" Bakugou screamed as he charged his way through the laboratory. He made a huge ruckus as he argued with the receptionist. In the end, he had to calm down unless he wanted to be kicked out.

"Where is that pink cotton candy looking shitface?!" He scowled as he was pushed down onto a seat. The receptionist silently cried to herself, muttering something about retirement and how young people were so rude these days.

"Ms. Hatsume is currently busy so I suggest you to not disturb her while she is on her operation."

"Operation?"

"Yes, she is currently going through a robotic surgery on a recent patient. It is best if you wait unless you want the patient to die off." The receptionist slightly threatened him before going back to clicking on her mouse.

"...tsk. How annoying." Bakugou clenched his pants. Sometimes he would even pinch his thighs as if to blame himself for what had happened to Midoriya. It is all my fault. If only I didn't say such harsh things back then, he thought.

"Whew...finally got it over with. Damn, I am tired...none of my babies ever took this long!" A feminine voice chirped in the vacant hallways. More footsteps followed behind her.

"Oi, where is Deku?" Bakugou stood to meet Hatsume in the eye. She smirked before taking off her gloves very carefully and tossing it into a nearby trash can. The gleaming red eyes spotted blood on the gloves before it could be trashed.

"I expected your arrival. He's in that room." She jabbed at a room with a metallic door. The blond immediately rushed to the door and didn't miss her warning.

"Careful there...don't say anything silly or else he might leave you for good." Hatsume giggled as if their relationship was a game.

"DEKU!" He opened the door in a haste and saw the greenhead sitting on a metallic table. The green orbs that stared back at the crimson ones flinched.

"K-Kacchan?"

"You fucking scared me!" Bakugou tightly embraced the other male, almost squeezing the bones out of him. Midoriya gasped at the sudden intimate contact and pushed back a bit.

"I..."

"No...don't apologize or anything. I'm sorry. I said all those things to you...I didn't know that you would actually take it to heart. So please...don't leave me again." He buried his face within Midoriya's chest. Midoriya was stunned at how abnormal the situation was but went along and wrapped his arms around his waist.

Now that he thought about it, Bakugou being afraid of him leaving wasn't so unnatural after all. He had already lost Midoriya Izuku, his human lover before. He feared that he might lose him again through me, though I was a robot. Was.

"I wasn't going to apologize...I just wanted to tell you, I think I'm a human now." Midoriya whispered as he stroked the tips of ash blond hair.

"What...?"

"I said, I think I'm a human now." Midoriya laughed at the reaction. It was literally the same expression when he confessed to Bakugou abruptly.

"But how?"

"I'm not sure myself...maybe we should ask Ms. Hatsume." Midoriya smiled. "But before that...I want to enjoy this moment." He leaned his warm forehead against the blond's and took a deep breath.

"I feel so happy...it's the same feeling I had when I was a robot." He laughed and took in the scene of Bakugou's hair.

"Hmm...me too," Bakugou admitted with a blush. "Ugh...this is so cheesy. Let's just ask her already!" He pulled Midoriya's hand and dragged him outside to discuss with Hatsume.

"Well? How in the world did he become human?!" Bakugou asked.

"Uh...do I really need to waste my breath?" She sighed bitterly while sipping her espresso. "Basically when I found him, his cold blood had already transformed into warm blood. The color also changed from blue to red. I am not completely sure about my theory but I believe that this was all caused by the error in his system."

"Ah...that error. You checked it. I felt you looking into my system..." Midoriya squirmed uncomfortably. "I never wanted you to check my body again..."

"Haha, well, robots tend to be sensitive about their system sometimes. Anyway, that error in your system sprouted because of love. This error soon began to corrupt your mind, as well as your system and it began to disfunction. That is why you fainted back there in the streets. As for your blood becoming human, that is where things become complicated. It could be that since the error affected your system, it also affected your heart. And by that, I mean it corrupted your mechanical heart."

"By some weird phenomenon or god-who-knows miracle, that error managed to seep into your heart and even cause it to malfunction. Perhaps it was the error that made the blood that was connected to your mechanical heart boil into warm human blood. Or simply put, it was the power of love!" She enthusiastically said with a dreamy look on her face.

"W-Wow..." Midoriya couldn't even think of a proper reaction.

"Love my ass..." The other scoffed. Midoriya gave him a betrayed look and Bakugou instantly took it back.

"Well, thanks Hatsume-san!" Midoriya smiled. "We will get going now!" She waved the two a farewell and they went home holding hands.

"I'm so happy right now..."

"You keep saying that, it's been like the fifth time, Deku."

"I know, but it's the truth! Because...I really love you..." He shyly replied. Bakugou felt his heart skip a beat and he nodded a bit.

"I love you too." He leaned in and kissed the already blushing bush. An awkward silence passed through them as they blushed furiously at the innocent kiss.

"You know about the heartless-"

"You know about you not having a heart-"

They both began at the same time. Then, they laughed.

"I take it back." They both agreed in unison.

THE END.
