Jumping from building to building silently always gives me a rush. Tonight i'm just doing the usual: follow pro underground hero's, take notes on them and leave. Sometimes I do it in the daytime but honestly the underground hero's are just so much more skilled at their jobs. The hero's in the daytime are clumsy and always incurr a lot of collatoral damage apart from a select few like kamui woods, a new up and comer.
Leaping up 3 stories to get on top of the next building I spot my target, Eraserhead, my favourite underground hero. He's just so good at what he does, and basically fights quirkless. His quirk lets him erase other's quirks and doesn't work on mutant types, so all he's doing is bringing other's toa quirkless state and fighting them like that. I think it's awesome, an inspiration really. Not to mention how skilled of a hero he is.
Ah, I lost track of myself there. Pulling my green hoodie down further over my face, I follow him from a few hundred metres away so he doesn't notice me. Back when I started and wasn't this skilled, he would notice someone watching him but I'm good at hiding so he never found me. Still though there were some close calls.
I follow him some more and he ends up at an abandones factory, or what should be abandones. It's surrounded by abandoned building itself so no one notices the lights on inside, until tonight that is. Quickly taking out my notebook, I watch as he enter's though a broken window on the roof, lowering himself with his capture device.
Jotting down some notes about how he uses his quirk on multiple people when cornered, I almost cheer for him when he captures them all. Nothing good to take notes on with the villians this time. I take note of them too of course, it'll help in the future after all. Arms dealers this time, good thing it's just this, I don't feel like watching a scene tonight. The worst thing i've seen was when he along with kamui and some others raided an illegal experimentation facility that experimented on quirkless children to give them quirks.
Horrible scenes. Even worse than the human trafficking bust a few years ago. There were some disgusting scenes there but the lab was worse. The pure unadulterated apathy the scientists showed towards those children could make you shiver. Referring them by numbers, not caring about their screams. Ugh... at least villians like hearing the screams, they at least feel something towards it, despite it being very twisted. Those scientists were less than human.
Oh I lost track there. Finishing up my recording of the incident which I will later review like all my notes in order to find new strategies for myself, I jump away from building to building when the cops showed up and head to the beach to continue destroying my body to let it grow stronger. The process takes time after all.
Eraserhead POV:
I felt it again tonight just before the raid started. Someone has been observing me for a long time almost every time I do my work. Never interferring, just observing. I've spoken to my husband about it, Hizashi, and he's felt it for a lot of his jobs too until a few years ago.
Whoever it is has gotten very good at hiding their presence in the recent years, it's to the point where I only feel the stare briefly for a moment before it vanishes. But i'm no fool, I know their still watching. The question is why?
Whoever it is doesn't do anything, ever. No new vigilanties have appeared recently, no one has attacked me knowing the weakness of my quirk so that shows whoever it is isn't selling information. I've seen them a few times, always wearing a dark green hoodie, but that was years ago, they're very skilled now. It's irrational. Ugh... I need some coffee.
Opening the door at 6am, I find Hizashi making breakfast. Walking over and giving him a hug and kiss good morning, he notices my mood, despite hiding it so well. I swear he's the only person that can see through me.
