Izuku POV:

When the two came over, we started with detection.

"Now then, for this training we won't be focusing on your senses. As your stealth improves, your senses will improve at the same pace corresponding to it okay?" - izuku

They nodded but looked surprised.

"Instead, I'll be teaching you the only thing I can about detection. First off turn around." - Izuku

They turned around as I asked and so I continued talking.

"Now then, we'll be working on how to pinpoint someone looking at you. Obviously Both Edgeshot and Neji can do this precisely, with Satorou and Sakuma knowing the general area of where the person looking at you is that right?" - Izuku

They nodded again and so i continued.

"Okay, good. Edgeshot, you can feel me looking at your back and where I am right?" - Izuku

"Yes, you're to my left about 30 degrees." - Edgeshot

"Good, what about now?" - Izuku

I wasn't looking directly at him, but concentrating my focus on the periphery of the focal point of my vision. I can focus on his movements like this by not looking directly at him, just over his shoulder.

Edgeshots brows furrowed but he still answered.

"I-i'm not sure... but I feel a slight weird feeling here. I don't know where you are though." - Edgeshot

He moved his hand up to where I was looking.

"Wow! That's amazing for someone with no practise Edgeshot! Yes, I was looking just over your shoulder. This way I can focus on your movements without looking directly at you, making it much harder for you know where I am. I'm to your right about 15 degrees by the way. What we will focus on is this.

You two need to be able to get up to their level where you can pinpoint where a look is coming from before moving up to the training I'm about to teach, but it doesn't hurt to start training your focus to be able to keep track of someone without looking directly at them. It helps immensely with stealth unless you need to see detail. Even then, you can make out fine details if you train enough to focus on the immediate periphery of your sights focal point. Did you catch that you guys?" - Izuku

"Yes, I understand how this would be immensely helpful." - Edgeshot

"Right, before we start though, why don't I demonstate it first. The book I learned this from stated it's possible to feel a stare's general direction within 3 metres of you and pinpoint it when it's within 2. I personally can only pinpoint it within a metre of me, and feel a general direction within a metre and a half. Any further than that I can't feel a stare at all. Edgeshot, i'll turn around and close my eyes. I want you to look at me within a metre of me from different places in the room, and then change to within a metre and a half when I tell you, constantly pushing my limits. After all, I need to train too." - Izuku

"Sure thing." - Edgeshot.

He did as asked whilst I closed my eyes. First he looked about 15 centimetres away from my left side. I put my arm out to indicate where he was looking.

"You're looking here, and you're 45 degrees to my left behind me."

Next he looked 40cm away from my left side again. I put my arm out again.

"You're looking here from 20 degrees in front of me to the left."

We repeated again for a while whilst either being closer or futher, but within a metre.
