"Jamie, have you been practicing?" You asked the young boy curiously as he excitedly nodded, running to his piano and jumping onto the seat. Lifting up the lid, he began to flip through the pages before finding a song he liked.

You and Chenle peered over him, eager to hear what he had prepared. When his small fingers began running around the keys. You recognised the piece as Four Seasons, Spring but a much more slowed down remix. It was a difficult piece, especially since it included Chopin and Liszt etudes.

After a bit more confident but incorrect playing, he suddenly stopped before turning back and flashing a big toothy smile at you and Chenle. "That's all I know," he giggled, twisting his arms cutely.

"So well done! That's a really difficult piece, I can't believe you can perform it!" Chenle gave him a surprised look on his face which made him giggle as his cute little cheeks turned rosey pink.

"Jamie... We have something to show you!" You turned and looked up at Chenle, who's face was grinning even more than you.

"Oooh! What is it, what is it!" He grasped his hands tightly together and looked up at both of your smiling faces, copying.

"You know I play the piano, and (Y/N) plays the flute... So we've prepared a song just for you!" Chenle bent down to reach Jamie's level and gave him a generous smile. "So could I borrow your piano just for a bit?" He tilted his head and asked, with a heavenly smile. He appeared to grow wings and a halo appeared above his head in your eyes.

"Of course! Of course! Jamie wants to see!" He clapped earnestly whilst jumping up and down. Chenle thanked him before sitting on the piano seat and adjusting himself. You popped your flute out of its case and adjusting everything, making sure you were on tune so you didn't embarrass yourself. Jamie jumped onto the couch, ready to witness greatness before his very eyes.

The truth is, you and Chenle have been practicing this song for a week or so now... but you can't remember the name of the piece. All you remember is that Chenle had brought up that the two of you should prepare a song for Jamie, and that Chenle found the piece off of the internet.

"Ready (Y/N)?" Chenle asked, hands on the piano as you agreed in return, hands gripping your flute.

As you two began to play, you could hear a small gasp come from the couch, and a little boy whose eyes were wider than the pacific ocean appeared in the corner of your eye. He sat with his back in a straight line and hands linked together, watching in awe.

The piece wasn't so solemn or sad as the other pieces you've played with Chenle. Instead, this piece felt like a walk in the park in Spring. The trees have bloomed with flowers of all different colours, and the bushes were filled with luscious leaves and beautiful flowers. There were children playing in the park, smiling and giggling, and there were parents who had time to meet up with friends and converse while their children were occupied. There were picnic blankets set up and baskets filled with fruit and cake and cupcakes and other desserts that all looked delicious and fresh. The birds chirped loudly and clearly and there were couples who walked together, hand-in-hand, smiles on their faces, wind blowing their hair. It was just too perfect.

Ah, by this time you and Chenle finished. You took a couple of deep breaths to make up for the loss of air that had exited your lungs.

"UWAHHHH! THAT- THAT WAS AMAZING!" Jamie jumped off the couch, and ran up closer to you and Chenle with his mouth agape. "THAT WAS SO COOL!" He jumped up and down excitedly. "I'm glad you enjoyed it." You came to his level and reached one hand to touch his amazed face.

"You two look like a real duo! And sound like a real duo! Like- like a real couple!" He blurted out which made you and Chenle look at each other. "Yeah, I suppose so!" Chenle giggled as his cheeks began to turn a bit hot. You looked away as you could feel your own cheeks become hot too.
