Disrict 6-Goodbyes

Makayla davis P.O.V.

I sit in the room meant for goodbyes waiting for my family, and possibly, friends. I don't have tons of close friends but I do have some aquantices. My family walks through the door crying like a person just died, well i'm probably am gonna die. "don't worry i'll be fine" i say uncertainly "I'm not gonna go too far into the cornucopia just a few steps then run out of there and i'mm gonna train hard" This seems to reasure them. "Be careful, and come home soon" says in perfect harmony, this makes me laugh and me laughing makes them smile. "Don't worry hon, you'll be fine" says my mom "Yeah, and don't get too attached to any of the other tributes you're just gonna end up killing them anyway." Says my dad. The peacekeepers come and i hug my bro and sis then my parents,i whisper in my mums ear and say "don't take any tesserae" and then they leave.

My next visitor is unexpected, it's Kyle Fox. We've known each other since kindergarden, but rarely talk. He walks in gives me a hug then leaves; WEll that was shocking. I'm now realizing all those people I condidered 'friends' were just people i talked to,Kyle was my real friend.

Blue Maxis's P.O.V

I pace back and fourth, again. My worst nightmare has come true. I'm going into the games. I'm happy it's not some innocent 12 year old, but why me? My family (mom dad and grandma) come into the room and surrind me hugging me and crying. "come home, please." Says my mom and my grandma nods, she can't talk. "Get a good weapon and some food but don't go too far into the cornucopia. make some alliances but don't liike them too much." says my dad. He'd aleays been very serious. the peacekeepers signals our time and they leve giving me pitiful glances.

My next guest is sot've expected. It's my best friend Kyle Fox. "hey man" he says. "Listen i want you to know that other girl is my friend too, so don't kill her unless it's nessecary for you to come out alive." he says looking uncomfortable. I completely get what he's talking about. he wouldn't want his best friend killing his friend. "don't worry man, i won't unless nesscesary" this clams him. He says good luck then leaves. Now all I can think about is one question,how will i be able to kill her when the time comes?
