i sit on the edge of my seat waiting for my prents and sister and anyone else to come and visit me. I know my sister will but I'm not sure anout my parents, we weren't that close. My sister walks in the room and looks terrified. "Mommy and daddy said good luck and they're not visiting you cause they''re cryin to hard" She says. She looks so innocent standing there confused about whats going on. "Where are you going?" I'm not sure what to say without scaring her. "To play a game." i say, my voice wavering. "When will you be back" She asks "Soon" I say, mostly because I wanna beleive it. The peacekeepers come and take her away. I'm not expecting anyone else.

Next, to my surprise, is Edward White. He's friends with that other kid th was picked and I can't imagine why he's here. "Please don't kill him" he says on the brink of tears. "Don't woory I won't" He looks up ate me and can see in my eyes that I will be willing to kill him if it means coming back home. He starts crying and runs out of the room. I can't help but feel guilty. I mad that little kid cry and might kill his friend. Well, I hope that karl chance dies in the bloodbath.

Karl Chances P.O.V

I wait for my family and Edward White to come and visit me. Edward Whit is my one and only friend. First is my mom,dad and brother. My parents are crying and my brother looks sad. "Good luck and come back, we love you" Says my mom. "Yes, plese come back, Don't ignore anything at the traing center." Says my dad. My brother comes up to me "Good luck, don't kill unless nessecary" He syas and gives me a fist bump. They leave, and I wait for edward White.

When he walks in his eyes are all red and puffy. "I just went and begged that girl not to kill you" He says. I'm mad but decide not to show it, it's the last time I'll see him. 'Thanks man, don't worry I'll come back." I say. The peacekeepers tell us our times up and he leaves.

I know I can't win, but I gotta try.
