This, I Promise You

Chapter 19

Gulf's POV

'The sight of you makes me weak.' 

I pressed the button on my screen, and saw my photo being uploaded onto my Instagram. A photo that P'Mew had taken of me when we were having our dinner at the beach that day.

We had returned from our short getaway a few days ago, which was why I had decided to upload the photo from the getaway now. There were many photos that we had taken at Hua Hin, which made me to have a hard time to choose the right one to be posted online. I shall post more of these photos in the future, preferably a photo with P'Mew as well.

As soon as P'Mew and I had returned to our respective homes, we had not met as he was focusing onto his debut album that would be released very soon. Despite not seeing each other, we constantly kept in contact with one another, be it through Line Chat or Call. I was waiting for P'Best to get the car, exhausted from the schedule that I had earlier on.

In The Car

"I did not get the chance to ask you earlier on. But how was your short break at Hua Hin?" P'Best asked, eyes still focusing onto the road.

"It was great, P. I felt at ease being there, and we did water sports activities as well. The food was also nice!" I complimented.

"And.. What about your dinner on the first night that you both were there?" P'Best asked, with a playful tone.

I froze. My mouth went wide open, turning to look at P'Best. A sudden realisation came over me.

"You knew about it, P? Wait. P'Mew told you about his plan as well?" I asked curiously.

P'Best nodded his head.

"He called P'Berm to seek his permission to clear out your schedule for those few days. And then, he told P'Berm about his plan, and asked for P'Berm's opinion on it. You know Gulf, he went to talk to your parents as well before finalising his plan to bring you for that short break. He made sure to get everyone's approval before asking you about it." P'Best said seriously.

"I thought that he only told our families about it. I am indeed surprise to know that he went out of his way to do this." I uttered softly.

"He's a keeper. Keep him close with you." P'Best added on, and gave me a smile afterwards.

We then discussed about my schedule for the rest of the week, to get myself prepared for the upcoming photoshoots and interviews that I was set to do.

As soon as I reached home, it was close to 11pm, hence I quickly made my way to the bathroom to take a shower after greeting my parents. I could not wait to rest on my comfortable bed, after being out for one whole day. After drying my hair, I immediately collapsed my body onto the bed, and took the opportunity to play my favourite mobile game with my friends.

After playing the game for about an hour, I went onto Instagram and scroll through the photos on my timeline. My finger had automatically stop scrolling, when I saw a photo, and read the sweet caption that got me smitten.

'You made it so easy for me to be happy'.

I pressed the heart, to like the photo. It was a photo of P'Mew that was taken by me. He was smiling at me who was behind the camera at that period of time.

The Next Day

I had just arrived at the set, greeting the staff that were setting up with their equipment. Being led into the waiting room, I was greeted with Kaownah waving at me from his seat. Everyone turned to look at me, giving me a smile as an acknowledgement. I was ushered onto my seat, before my make-up artist started to do his work on my face. The cast of Tharn Type Season 1, would be having a schedule - photoshoot and an interview together. I was excited because it has been a long time since I have seen Kaownah, P'Mild, P'Boat and P'Tong, and it was a privilege to be having a schedule with them, as I was the most comfortable around them, alongside P'Mew.

I was just dozing off on my chair, when I felt a sudden jolt of coldness on my left cheek. I opened my eyes, startled, to see P'Mew laughing at me before giving me the cup of drink that he was holding onto.

"It's nice to finally see my boyfriend after days. I bought for you your favourite drink, sleepyhead." P'Mew whispered to my ear, ruffled with my hair before walking away to get his make-up done as well. I was sure that my face had turned crimson red by then. I looked into the mirror and saw my make-up artist giving me teasing look. I quickly looked away, sipping onto the drink.

We were done with the photoshoot, now seated onto the chairs that the staff had prepared for us, for our interview. I was seated between P'Mew and P'Mild on the chair, with the rest of the cast seated behind us. The interview was going well, with the interviewer asking us about our future projects and our thoughts on our unexpected popularity.

"Alright, before we end this interview, we have a question for Mew and Gulf. Everyone went crazy on Instagram last night after your posts. So.. Can you tell us what is your relationship with each other now?" The interviewer asked.

The cast were laughing at us as soon as they heard the question. I have prepared the answer for this kind of question for a long time. I was about to answer, when P'Mild cut me.

"The fans can answer this question for them. But, let me also answer this for them. They are just P-Nong that love each other." P'Mild answered playfully.

I open my eyes widely at P'Mild and pushed him playfully on his shoulder. P'Mew burst out laughing after hearing P'Mild's answer, before nodding at the interviewer, to acknowledge P'Mild's answer.

"Suspicious.. Okay this question then, how do you both rate your relationship?" The interviewer asked again, anticipating an answer from the both of us.

P'Mew and I were about to answer the question, when we were cut off, again.

"8 out of 10. It's only at 8, because they have to spare the rest for their development of relationship" The rest of the cast answered at the same time. 

Everyone that were at the set laughed out loud after hearing how the boys can answered simultaneously at the same time, with the exact words. 

I pouted playfully at Kaownah, after seeing how the boys were enjoying themselves, teasing both P'Mew and I. P'Mew pulled me closer to him, pulling me along to laugh at the cast's antics that could easily give anyone a headache.

"That's all everyone. Thank you for making the photoshoot and interview to be a breeze! We will let you know when we will be releasing these content!" The staff said cheerfully, to end the schedule.

The 6 of us made our way back into the changing room, to change back into our casual clothing, and had a small briefing with our respective managers.

"Ok boys, let's go for our long-awaited lunch! Hurry! P'Mew and Gulf, we shall see the both of you there." P'Mild said after his manager had ended his briefing, calling out for P'Boat and P'Tong.

We quickly packed our bags, leaving the room and bid our managers farewell, to leave for our lunch appointment that we had set together. I quickly got into P'Mew's car, and got myself comfortable in the car.

I am sure that the cast would tease both P'Mew and I later on, especially after the matching photos that we had posted yesterday. I sighed softly, preparing myself for the war with the playful cast. I held my boyfriend's hand while he drove us to the restaurant. I felt at ease hearing his humming in the car.

Boyfriend. I love that label.
