Mew's POV

I was nervous. I had thanked all of the staff who had helped me with the dinner arrangements. It was a dream come true, to see my dinner plans, coming to reality, with all of the arrangements that the staff had helped, with all of the fairy lights being placed around our table.. I took a deep breath, letting the beach view to soak through me.

So many thoughts ran through my mind, while waiting for Gulf at the beach. What if he pushed me away after this? What if he said that he has changed his mind to stay? What if his feelings changed? There were so many what-ifs. I shook my head off, in an attempt to remove all of the negativity thoughts from invading my mind.

"P'Mew!" I turned my head to see Gulf approaching me from far.

While I was smiling at him, waiting for him to stand right in front of me, there were so many flashbacks that went through my mind. All of my memories with him were being played in my mind - all of the good memories. At that moment, I knew that it would be a big loss for me if I let Gulf go from my life. If anyone had asked me a year ago whether I would be happy in the future, I would have easily answered no. But now that I have Gulf in my life, he has indeed spread so much positivity in my life. I smiled affectionately at Gulf, when he stopped right in front of me, taking a look at our dinner table.

"You did all of this on your own?" Gulf asked.

"The resort's staff helped me to make this possible. Now, let's enjoy our dinner." I held his hand, leading him to the chair.

The staff had helped to bring in the food, once the both of us had settled down. Gulf's eyes remained glued onto all of the food that were placed on the table. As soon as all of the food had been placed on the table, we started to dig into the food. I really hope that Gulf would like the surprise that I have for him, in a while.

The staff had just brought out our dessert, after we were done with our meal. I was fumbling in my pocket, holding onto the box that I had kept in my pocket since hours ago. I looked up to see Gulf already looking at me with concern.

"Are you okay, P'Mew? You do not like the food?"

"Huh? Oh no.. It is just.." I said. I took a deep breath.

"I have thought about this for so long. I got the answer that you have been waiting for." I said confidently.

Gulf went tensed after that.

"Erm, can we wait until I have eaten the dessert? Let me enjoy the dessert first before being sad." Gulf said with a pout.

I smiled. I cannot believe that this boy here felt that I would be rejecting him, after doing all of these for him. Gulf avoided from looking at me, playing with the spoon that he has holding onto.

I grabbed hold of his hand, and intertwined our fingers together, on the table.

"Listen here, Gulf Kanawut.. Do you think I will still reject you after doing all of these for you? I wanted to say that I am ready to take our relationship status from 8 to 10. The question now is, are you ready to have me in your life?" I asked, cold sweats breaking out.

Gulf was surprised. He looked at me in shocked for a minute before clearing his throat.

"Wait what? Did I hear you right? Am I dreaming? Can you pinch me so that I can wake up from this dream?" Gulf answered. I rolled my eyes. I firmly took his hand and grabbed it, to let him know that I was still waiting for his answer.

"Okay, I am definitely not dreaming. But, are you sure P'Mew? I can always wait for you when you are really ready, you know." Gulf muttered.

"I am ready, Gulf.. Ready than ever. Ever since that night when you helped me to get over my past, my heart knows what it wants. I want you to continue being by my side. As my best friend and a boyfriend. Which is why, I want to give you this as a symbol of our love. Of course, if you agree to be mine." I voiced out, putting the small box right in front of him.

Gulf looked at the box, being surprised. He then remove his hand from mine, slowly opening up the small box. He gasped after seeing the rings in the box.

"Nong? You have not given me an answer yet, and I am slowly growing nervous here.." I whispered. Gulf looked up to me and laughed.

"Of course my answer will be yes, P. It will always be yes. Now, do I wear this ring myself or you will help me?" Gulf smirked.

I stood up from my seat and quickly made my way to Gulf, pulling him up as well. I took the ring that had my name engraved underneath it, and slipped it onto his finger. Gulf took the chance to slipped the other ring on my finger as well.

"You are now mine. I promise to always be here for my talented boyfriend." Gulf whispered to my ear.

He then wrapped his arms around my neck, looking at me. I gave him a quick peck on his cheek.

"P'Mew..." Gulf blushed.

"Look at this red face.. Okay, let's enjoy our dessert now. Someone said that he wanted to enjoy his dessert right?" I said to Gulf, going back to my seat to enjoy the dessert.

After the dinner, we took a stroll together at the beach, to enjoy the night view before going back to our room to end the night. It still feels surreal to be walking together with Gulf, with our hand intertwined like this.

It is only Day 1 of our getaway, and I am already enjoying my time with Gulf. I cannot wait for the following days, as I had already planned so many activities for the both of us.

Importantly, my heart is now unavailable.
