Sofia the first: Royal Blood?

The Welcome Ball part 2

   Sofia notices that the Royal family of frezenburg just arrived. Sofia slowly walks over to greet them worried about the outcome. "Good evening King Henrik and Princess Astrid." Sofia says giving a curtsey. Astrid gave a curtsey and says "Its a pleasure to be here. Thank you for inviting us.... even after all that my little sister did."
King Henrik took a box from one of the servants that came along with them. "Princess sofia please except this gift as an apology for Hildegard's disgraceful behavior. She truly did dishonor our family." King Henrik says sincerely apologized. "King Henrik, I do appreciate you trying to undo Hildegard's wrong doing. I would like to hear it from Hildegard herself." Sofia says looking at the pair. "Of course princess." Henrik bows. "Astrid, I would love to get to know you." Sofia says facing Astrid. "It would be a pleasure, Princess. Shall we meet for tea one day to get more acquainted? Astrid asks taking a glass of water from one of maids. "That would be great." Sofia says with a smile. "Excuse me please, I have some more guests to greet. Enjoy the ball." Sofia says doing a curtsey before going to greet the newly arriving Royal family.
   The Royal family of Enchania just arrived. "Oh My, Sofia had a great turn out." Miranda says looking around the ballroom. "Indeed she did. James best behavior we don't need any surprise cannons tonight. Amber make sure he stays out of trouble." Roland instructs his children. "Yes Daddy." Amber says fluttering her fan. James looks around the ballroom. "Dad where is Grandmom and aunt Tilly?"asks James. "They're on their way son. In the meantime let's go greet our hosts." king Roland says holding his hand out for his Queen. "Good idea Rollie, I hope Sofia is adjusting well to all this change since it all happened so quickly." Explained Miranda. The pair left to mingle, leaving Amber and james alone.
"Must have been really boring planning this ball." James says crossing his arms. Amber turned to face him. "James this ball is Sofia's debut ball as the heir to Alic. it's a tradition in Alic that the crown princess plans not only her debut ball but also plan the years festivities. Didn't you pay attention in Royal economics." States an annoyed Amber. James shrugged off his sisters smart remark. "Yeah.... No. Why should I pay attention to professor Popov? His lectures put everyone to sleep." James faking a yawn. "You should pay attention, that class is essential if you become king." says Amber who is walking away from James. Soon after Amber meets up with her parents, Grandmum and aunt.
  "Mother, father, Have you seen Sofia yet?" Amber asked approaching them. "We haven't seen her yet. But isn't this ball Wizbang?" Aunt tilly says putting her hand on Amber's shoulder. "It is nice aunt tilly." Amber says with a smile. Sofia seen Amber with the rest of her family. Sofia walks over to greet them. "Welcome, thank you for coming." Sofia says standing next to James. Grandmum approaches Sofia. "We wouldn't miss this for anything. My you look so much like ur father. He would be proud of the amazing girl you have become." Grandmom says with a sad smile. Sofia gives her grandmum a hug. "I wish I met him. He sounds like an amazing person." Sofia says wishfully. "So do I Sofia, your father was ecstatic when I told him I was expecting." Queen Marina says joing the group. "Hi, mom." Sofia greeted her with a hug. The hug was interrupted By the grand Queen of Enchancia. "Its been awhile, Marina." Said Grandmom who was watching Sofia chat with her cousins and friends. "Yes it has been, your majesty." Marina looking away.    
The group of adults stand in silence until king Roland broke the silence. "Mother, Marina.... what's going on?" A confused Roland asks. Miranda puts a calming hand on her husband's shoulder. Tilly leans over and whispers "Mom and Marina didnt depart on a good note after Cameron passed."  Miranda frowned. "I'm gonna go check on the twins. I'll be back soon." Miranda says not wanting to get involved in the situation. "It was Cameron's duty as the king of Alic to protect his people..." Roland says stepping in between Queen Marina and his mother. "Uncle Roland would do the same for Enchancia." Sofia says glaring at her mother and uncle. "I'm going to mingle with my friends, please dont ruin my ball with this nonsense." Sofia says leaving the adults.  James came join his family with his friends Prince Zandar of Tangu and prince Jin of wei-ling. "James, do u think Sofia has any flying carpets?" Asked Zander. James shrugged. "I dont know, I just seen Sofia walk over to clio's family."
    "Good evening King Antonio, Queen Amira and Princess Clio." Greeted Sofia with a curtsey.  "Thank you for inviting us, Princess." King Antonio thanked. Sofia smiled. "Thank you all for coming it truly is nice to meet you." Sofia says with a small nod. "This is for you, Sofia." Clio says taking a box from her mom.  "Hope you like it. I designed them myself." Says Clio with a proud smile. Sofia carefully opened the box and gasps "Clio the parasol and gown are beautiful!! Sofia cried pulling Clio into a hug.  "I'm so glad you like them." Clio sighed in relief. "See you in school, Sofia."  The festivities went on until 2am the next morning.
