Chapter 12

Liv changed into her favorite yellow sundress. It had small bejeweled sleeves. She wore her silver sandals and left her hair up in the high pony she had put it in when her and Liz began cooking earlier that day. Liz had left earlier that day so she wouldn't catch Liv sneaking a cupcake for Riker. Liz was very serious with her 'Do not eat until it is finished' rule. She put the cupcakes in two of Liz's special cupcake boxes, grabbed her car keys, & walked out the door.

"Hello, gorgeous" Riker said as Livia walked up to him. Livia laughed. "I mean it" he said putting his hands on her waste. Liv smiled and blushed, looking towards the ground. Riker gave her a kiss. She looked back up at him. "Did you bring my cupcake?" Riker asked. Liv gasped. "You only want me for my cupcakes." She said. "Not true!" Riker said in reply, fighting back. "Lying is bad, Riker" Liv said as she began to walk towards the picnic blanket Riker had already set up. "Fine,I admit it." Riker said. Liv turned around and shoved him a little. Riker laughed. "You laugh a lot" Livia said. "You're a funny girl" Riker told her. "Thanks" she said "I try". Riker laughed again. Livia and Riker sat down on the picnic blanket and began eating. "You made all of this?" Liv said, shocked. "Everything but dessert." He answered. Liv smiled and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Riker smiled. "Can we go on a walk?" Liv asked shyly. "Of course" Riker said. "After, I finish my delicious cupcake." He said taking a bite. Liv laughed slightly.

They did take a walk. Liv talked to Riker about his music. Riker asked Livia some more questions in horses. Riker agreed to spend a full day with Liv at the equestrian park and help her take care of Tucker. Liv just had to take one guitar lesson from Riker. Liv agreed. Surprisingly, to the both of them, they were really excited. There was something about sharing the others' interest that made them very happy. That got to get to know each other. The more they did, the more they started to like each other.
