Chapter 15

"Hey Lizzy, can I ride SugarPop today?" Liv said as she took a fresh apple out of the fruit bowl they had set on their kitchen table. "Of course you can, Superstar. It's not like I can ride him." Liz answered. "Thanks" Liv said. She took a bite out of the apple and grabbed her car keys. "Treat Tanner well" Liz called after her. "I'm not going to mistreat my car!" Liv yelled back. "Says the future NASCAR driver!" Liz screamed. "Haha, whatever" Liv said. She got into Tanner and pulled off. Before she left, she told Riker to meet her at Silver Water. He agreed. Today was the day Riker was going to help her take care of her horse, who actually already got his 'spa treatment' after the show. So, technically he was helping to take care of her sister's horse. That she rode and took care of, but whatever. When Livia pulled up Riker was waiting, leaned up against his car. "Hey sweet thang" he said as a joke. Livia rolled her eyes, but let out a slight laugh. He laughed too. "Hey baby girl" he said walking up to Livia and giving her a kiss on the cheek. "You ready?" Liv asked. "I guess so?" Riker answered. "Are you scared??" Liv said. "Not all horses are crazy and wild like one you might see in a movie. They can be but, my horses are the sweetest you will ever meet." Liv continued. Riker looked at her. She smiled. Riker smiled back. Liv took his hand and let him to the horse barn. "This isn't Tucker" Riker noted. "You're right. This is Aliza's horse, SugarPop." Liv said. "That she can't ride" she added under her breathe. Riker heard and laughed. "He is super sweet and friendly." Liv told Riker. "See?" Liv said giving SugarPop a kiss on his nose. She even tugged his hair a little to show he didn't have a temper. "I consider that cheating" Riker said as a joke. "Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to. I swear he made me do it. This horse can control minds." Liv said. Riker laughed. "As long as he doesn't try to control mine" Riker said. "He can't. You're one of the Lynch boys. That makes you too tough for him to get to." Liv said. Riker pulled a Ross move and showed off his guns. Liv shook her head. Riker laughed and kissed her cheek again. "Wanna ride?"  Liv asked. "Yea, uh, NO!!!" Riker said. Liv sighed. "Fine, he hasn't been on a ride for a while though so I am gonna take him before we get him all clean." Liv said. While she was talking to Riker earlier on she had been applying the saddle. She jumped up onto her sister's quarter horse and trotted out to the edge of the barn. "I'll be back" she said to Riker. The next second, she was riding that horse as fast as it could go. Riker watched . No matter how many times he watched, he still couldn't get over how well Livia was on and with a horse.
