nini and ricky are in ricky's dorm. ej, red, and the rest of them all went out to get dinner for them. ricky still hasn't said anything to nini and she was starting to freak out.

"are you scared of me...?" nini softly asks. ricky laid in his bed and focused on playing with his hands. the girl looked at him for an answer but he didn't budge, "ricky... i was just scared, okay?"

"i get that."

"gina was gonna tell everyone i was the exposer and i knew that as soon as you heard that you would-"

"tell everyone that i was the exposer, not you?"

"yeah," nini simply said as ricky and her stared at each other, "i knew you would take the fall and i couldn't let that happen."

"why not nini?"

"ricky because! word gets around so easily and we were about to go into college," nini revealed, "what if UCLA found out? what if they thought you singly handedly hacked into everyone's twitters and instagrams? or that you had an exposer account that told everyone's personal problems? that you "bullied" me? there was no way, i was gonna let you take the fall."

"nini, i was responsible for that account though!" ricky exclaimed and finally sat up in his bed, "so i deserved to have some punishment too! or you could've told me what was happening this whole time-"

"i could've told you that i killed gina?!"

"you didn't kill her!" ricky yelled. nini got taken aback and looked at ricky with confusion. the boy let out a deep sigh and tried to calm himself down. "you didn't kill gina cause if you did she wouldn't be here today, would she?"

"i tried to though," nini softly said and felt herself start to cry. "don't you hear what im saying? you should be running to the cops or telling all of our friends-"

"im not gonna tell anyone," ricky softly said and grabbed nini's hands. "i get it... you were just scared and you believed you were protecting me."

"do you think i was just telling myself that i was protecting you .. or do you think i just did it because i hate gina?" nini quietly said with tears running down her face.

ricky let out a deep sigh and dug his hand in his pocket. he finally grabbed it out. he slid the butterfly ring onto nini's finger and smiled at her. nini finally let out that breath that she didn't even know she was holding in. the boy grabbed nini's face and kissed her on the top of the forehead.

"i think you were just doing everyone a favor," ricky answered. just in time, red opened up the dorm door and in comes everyone. they all greeted each other with smiles and placed the food down.

"in & out!" ricky exclaimed with a smile. everyone laughed and ej handed him his food.

"of course we had to get you your favorite!" kourtney said and the both of them exchanged smiled at each other. everyone started to conversation with each other and finally, things felt like they were back to normal.

ellie's laugh echoed through nini's ears and she turned and saw ellie and tj talking and laughing together. nini chuckled and turned to ricky, "wow.. i was not expecting that."

"i think they're kinda cute together," ricky told nini. they both laughed and nodded their heads.

"i think those people over there are cute too," nini said and pointed at ej and howie, who were currently sharing a milkshake. they both started to smile, but nini felt her phone ringing.

her heart stopped. this was it. she had to say goodbye to everyone. the girl pulled out her phone and saw that her mom was calling her, which was weird considering the fact that her parents barely pay attention to her.

"mom?" nini said. everyone in the dorm stopped their conversation and glanced at nini with confusion. even they found it odd that her parents were calling her. "uhh.. what's going on?"

"nini... you and all of your friends need to come home. tomorrow."

"what why?"

"it's about gina."

nini looked at her friends with a blank face and ended the call. she felt shivers running through her body and found it harder to breath.

"nini, what's wrong?" ashlyn asked.

"we all have to go home tomorrow," nini explained, "it's about gina."
