i open my front door to see who was knocking, i look at who it is.
it's keith. why in the fuck is he here? how did he find my house? "funny, you gave me wrong address." he says ruffling my hair. i pull away, we're not friends.
"how did you fi-" he cuts me off. "oh you wanna know how i found out? just wait for your mom to explain." he says with a satisfied smile.
i give him a confused look. "who's at the door kairi?" my mom yells out as she makes her way to the door. "oh, hello keith, come in." my mom says gesturing for him to come inside.
what the fuck is she doing? both me and mattia give eachother weird looks.
i told her what happened at the party, and what i think keith did to me, so why she inviting him in? and how does she know what he looks like?
"mom, can we speak for a sec?" i ask grabbing her shirt sleeve. "yes, keith wait right here with mattia." she says following me to the livingroom.
we both go to sit on the couch. "why in the world did you invite him in? how do you know what he looks like?" i question her, in a whisper voice. i don't want him hearing our conversation.
"a neighbor called and said a boy named keith was looking for you. so i talked to him through the phone and decided to invite him over for dinner." she answers.
"and why would you do that?" i ask furrowing my brows. what is she thinking?
"we talked about how everyone could express their feelings and say their apologies." she explains giving a smile.
bless this woman's heart. i don't think she realizes that this isn't going to solve the issue.
"whatever, let's just get it over with." i huff as i get up to walk out of the livingroom. when i make it out of the hallway, i only see mattia standing there.
"where did keith go?" my mom asks as she comes in from the doorway behind me...
