Chapter 1

"You're hired! Next week will be the start of the school semester, congratulations Miss Mendes" he extended his hand for a handshake I immediately held it

"Thank you so much sir, you will not be disappointed of choosing me" I smiled before leaving the HR office.

I thought it will take many interviews before I'll get in because I'm a fresh grad and my BS Chem course is not in line with teaching profession or so I presume. However, they are actually looking for a chemist teacher so I guess this is my lucky day!

My things are too heavy for me so I decided to leave it on my car before going to the university cafeteria because I'm hella hungry! I didn't even have time to eat my breakfast afraid to come late in this interview.

I'm on my way to the parking lot when I heard someone calling my name but I ignored it since I'm not the only Catalina here right?

"Florence Catalina Mendes!" before I even turn, a pair of hands was already on my waist hugging me tightly.

"Bitch what are you doing here?" I asked trying to look pissed but actually glad to see someone familiar here and ohh its my bestfriend.

"Wait! You should hug me back my bitch bestfriend Florencia"

"Did you even take a bath, Josephine?" I smirked before leaving her to get in my car. She just rolled her eyes at me I love pissing her off

"Don't call me Josephine! Thats too out of place and not my style" she pouted while touching her nose.

"Then stop calling me Florencia you think I love that name?"

"Yeah whatever Cat. Lets go somewhere so we can talk" she wink at me before she turned to get her car. I started my car and followed her

Its my first time in toll house so I let Feniel ordered our food. I stared at her while tapping my fingers on the table thinking how the hell up she's here in front of me when she should be in Korea right now.

"I thought you're leaving the country, Feniel?" if I'm not mistaken she's going abroad to work on their company. As the only child of Christian Nepomuceno she will inherit their soda business. Maarte nyang hinarap sa mukha ko ang kanyang palad shutting me out.

"Well I think you'll miss me so I decided to tag along" I know she's not in good terms with her dad but nevertheless I know she had a plan working on their company without living the country. Because as per she always say 'Mahal ko ang bansang Pilipinas'

"Of course I will miss you but we've been together since pre-school do you think hindi nakakasawa pagmumukha mo?"
I let out a sarcastic joke kung may makakarinig siguro sa amin they will think we're having a fight but to burst their bubble this is just one of our normal conversation.

"Excuse me hindi lang ang magandang mukhang ito ang makikita mo, oh here he is KEN!"

And there I saw my guy best friend wearing plain blue polo na nakatupi ang sleeves hanggang siko, nakapants na itim at blackboots.

"Wow you look human now where did you go after graduation that you evolved like this?" dati pa naman syang maputi ang balat but he became masculine now nakaclean cut kaya mas na emphasize ang chinito nyang mga mata. He looks dashing actually.

"Bastos ka parin magsalita Catalina, what do you think of me a pokemon?" he said after nyang magbeso sa amin saka sya umupo. He's always like that very gentleman kissing his girl friends cheeks whenever he met them.

"Ih KenKen you just gave me virus" irap naman ni Feniel. I handed her my tissue hindi pa ito nasanay kay Ken.

"So why the fucking both of you are here?" I impatiently ask them because coincidence is not on my dictionary.
