Their reactions was priceless bago pa sila makapagsalita hinila ko na itong baliw kong kasama na nakalimutan yata na guro sya sa lugar na ito. Huminto kami sa office ni Dr. Jin Mercado our department head in Natural Science. Kung malamig na sa office nang pumasok kami mas malamig pa ang working office ni Doc Jin.
"Good morning po Doc"
"Good morning to the both of you! Did you prepare all the materials you'll be needing for this week?"
"Yes po Doc"
"Great. Talk to me if you have questions or any important thing to discuss I'll gladly spare my time."
"Thank you Doc"
"Thank you Dokie" Feniel said. Doc Jin only smiled at her remark before she call someone and put it in a loudspeaker.
"Sir Mcbride?"
"Yes Doc?"
"Please go to my office. Thank you"
"Roger Doc"
He open another door inside the office, I think the room a while ago was the lounge area dahil seats and table lang naman ang nandon at ang office ng aming head.
"I didn't know na magkadepartment pala tayo" he smirked while looking at me.
"You know me?" I asked a bit curious. My magazine cover abroad was never released in this country. Perhaps he saw it in the internet?
"Are you a stalker?" Feniel suddenly covered her mouth. She maybe thought it was inappropriate to asked that to a professor we just met. I can't blame her because we had encountered bunch of stalkers during our college days. It became creepy so we transferred in Mapuá where we met our childhood friend Ken and his friend Pablo who became our friend too and my ex.
"I'm not even surprise if you have one." he chuckled and winked at us. Playful huh?
"I saw her talking to Dean Cuevo last week. I assumed she's newly hired I never saw her before" his stares lingered on Feniel. We took the opportunity to introduced ourselves, his name is Isaac Mcbride majored in physical science. I don't know but I always respect the people who shared the same passion I had in science.
"I think your handsome" Feniel said out of nowhere and stared at him. I saw him stop in his track slowly rosing his cheeks and ears.
"I'm certain that you're blushing right now Sir Isaac Mcbride" I saw how his jaw dropped on Feniel's remark. I thought hindi na mapapansin ni Feniel ang ilang pagtagal na titig sa kanya ni Sir Mcbride. Had a crush on her huh? I know Feniel is hard to resist she's beautiful, candid and has a gleeful personality. Who wouldn't like her?
He abruptly leave the room after he pointed out our assigned tables. Feniel and I both shrugged and laughed on his reaction.
I'm glad the tables were separated by cubicles, I'm in the far side corner of the room while Feniel's cubicle was on my left side. The other cubicles were empty siguro hindi pa dumadating ang ibang mga professor's or sila yung nasa lounge area kanina.
I placed my bag and locked it under my table, behind me there's a cabinet that contains office supplies and desktop on the corner. I'm glad our office necessities were already prepared here.
"Ma'am Feniel where's your first class?" I saw her eyes twinkled upon hearing me.
"Ang sexy naman ng pagkaprofessional mo Ma'am Caaaat. Kinikilig din ako sa Ma'am hihi"
"Nevermind" I get my materials and leave her. She immediately grab her things to follow me.
"Ihahatid mo ko Ma'am Cat? 305 room ko hihi" she said beaming with rejoice. I nodded and smiled at her.
Dumiretso na ako sa class ko pagkatapos kong ihatid si Feniel. I enter my class and walk straight on the table in front only to see the students fascinated stare at me?
"Good morning class"
"Is there any dirt on my face?" I asked in a very worried tone. The least I want today is to look ugly and leave bad impression to my students.
Shit! I didn't check my face in the mirror baka nga may dumi talaga sa mukha ko?
"N-Nothing po ma'am. It's just that you look lovely and v-very attractive."
"Ang ganda ganda mo po ma'am"
I let out a sigh of relief akala ko kung ano na eh. I thanked them and introduced myself.
"I graduated BS Chem. I also took up fashion design abroad during summer and sembreak whenever I had free months on my class schedule. That's all." bago pa sila magtanong I decided to distribute the test I prepared last night.
"Anyway you need to answer this diagnostic test so I'll know your strengths and weaknesses on my subject. Y'all first year med tech students right?"
They nodded and began answering. I walked back and forth to see how concentrated they are on this test.
After the test I gave them the syllabus on my organic and inorganic chemistry subject. I explained to them why we need to study chemistry and how it help us on our daily lives.
I dismissed them afterwards hindi ko na napansin na lunch time na pala kung hindi lang lumabas ang mga students sa kabilang room at kung hindi lang din ako kinatok ni Feniel.
"Tara na Cat nasa faculty na daw si Kenken hihi" she said nang nakalabsas na ang mga students.
"Okay I'll just fix these papers"
Nakaupo si Ken sa lounge area while talking to other Professor's sa sobrang bait nito di na ako magtataka kung kaibigan na nya buong staff sa university. Tumayo sya nang nakita nya kami, he tousle Feniel's hair and kiss me on my cheeks. Napatigil lahat ng mga tao sa faculty tanging ingay lang ng nalaglag na kutsara ang maririnig.
Nginitian ko lang sila nang mapako ang tingin ko kila Maki at Quiro. Bakit sya nandito? Bakit bigla syang umalis at sinarado ng padabog ang pintuan?
"Ayy sorry may klase pa pala kami ni si Sir Quiro. Bye!"
