I Love You | Tsukki x Yamaguchi

"Fuck off" the tall blonde dismissed the other student who had tried to talk to him. They were standing in the hallway and one of his 'friends', Kuroo had tried to talk to him, which he had shut down before Kuroo could even speak. Kuroo just walked away from Tsukkishia, going back to his white haired friend

"What's his problem" he asked once he reached the owl headed boy.

"Apparently his boyfriend and him broke up again" Bokuto responded, walking down the hall with Kuroo.

"Isn't that their like fifth time in the last two weeks?" Kuroo asked "You'd think they'd stop trying by now.

"They were dating for like 5 months straight before then and now this is happening, its strange" a monotone voice suddenly said, making Kuroo jump. He looked over at the voice and saw the dual toned hair boy, staring down at his PSP.

"I wonder why their having issues now" another voice said, bokuto looking over and almost getting a nose bleed just glancing over at the boy who had been walking with Kenma before they'd caught up with Bokuto and Kuroo.

"Whatever, it just means he single" Kuroo said, getting elbowed in the ribs from Kenma. "Ow! Kenma why would you elbow me that hurts!"

"First of all, They literally just broke up you can't just walk up to people and ask them out unless you want to be a rebound, and second of all, we're dating dumb ass" Kenma explained

"Aw do you not want to have a threesome with him? Its okay you can still be the bottom" Kuroo said, getting another elbow to his ribs, and a snicker from Bokuto.

"I don't even want to sleep with you why would I with him?" Kenma said, his face slightly red.

"But you do it anyway" Kuroo replied.

"In your dreams I do apparently, you seem to forget I don't sleep until like 2am" Kenma said back, getting a snicker from both Bokuto and Akaashi.

"Hey! Have you guys uh seen Tsukki?" A shy yet excited voice said to the group. Kenma looked up from his PSP for a second to see a green haired boy.

"Down the hall, near his locker" Kenma said, and Yamaguchi walked off towards Tsukkishima's locker.

He walked over and saw Tsukkishima taking something out of it. He waited for Tsukkishima to finish what he was doing. Tsukki closed the locker and saw Yamaguchi from the corner of his eye.

"What do you want?" He asked harshly, making Yamaguchi jump, and upon getting a better look at his face, apparently make him almost cry right there.

"Can we talk?" Yamaguchi asked.

"About what? How you broke up with me? Yeah no thanks" Tuskkishima said, trying to keep an angered expression while he saw Yamaguchi on the verge of crying. "You keep doing this, breaking up with me and then convincing me to get back together with you. Just knock it off already, I've gotten over you" Yamaguchi looked at the floor slightly and Tsukkishima could feel his heart shatter into pieces when he saw a tear running down his face.

"Ah okay." Yamaguchi said, trying to keep his voice from breaking "I just thought you'd want to know why I keep doing this. I thought it might hurt you so I just wated to explain. But I guess I assumed something that wasn't true. Sorry Tsukki... shima" He said, turning around and walking away.

"I'd still like to know, I don't know if your just sadistic and like to break up with people in attempts to ruin them or if you actually don't care about me anymore" Tsukkishima said before he walk away completely.

"Ah yeah Okay" he said "Uh let's meet up after school"

"Okay, well explain" Tsukkishima said, walking with the green haired boy towards the back of the school where the least people would be. Yamaguchi didn't answer until they reached a place no one else was.

"I'm sorry" he said, his voice already cracking but Tsukkishima cutting him off.

"Don't try guilt tripping me or anything"

"I-I won't, I'm sorry if it seems like I am. I'm not sadistic like you said, I don't think I am anyway. I just, you were always so great to me and I loved you so much but I don't know, you just never seemed happy. You were always so silent and never said anything to me, even when I tried talking to you, you would just ignore me or shut down the conversation, so I just thought-" he said, pausing as he started crying. "I just thought you hated me and wanted to break up, and I know we got back together but every time I felt like you were doing it-" he said, fulling breaking down at this point, and also cutting himself off as Tsukkishima hugged him. He pushed Tsukkishima away a little before continuing. "I thought you were doing it because you felt guilty or something"

Tsukkishima didn't say anything, instead just going back to hugging Yamaguchi. Yamaguchi returned the hug this time, melting into it, missing the safety and comfort of Tsukkishima's touch.

"Your a dumb ass" Tsukkishima said, still holding Yamaguchi is his arms. He pushed Yamaguchi out of his arms a little so he could kiss him, quickly going back to hugging him afterwards.

"I know. I shouldn't have assumed any of that" Yamaguchi said, and Tsukki could tell he was about to start rambling.

"Shut up Yamaguchi" he said

"Sorry tsukki" yamaguchi apologized, hugging Tsukki tighter,

"Hey" Kuroo said, walking over to Tsukkishima, earning a sigh in the distance from Kenma. Bokuto dared Kuroo to try and flirt Tsukkishima, which Kenma didn't really care about but knew Kuroo was a dumb ass and would screw up somehow.

"Fuck off" Tsukkishima dismissed him, going back to grabbing something out of his locker. Kuroo walked away defeated back to his friend group, as he walked over there Kenma laughed a little.

"Hey! Don't laugh at me he's just salty he's single." Kuroo said to Kenma, who just pointed at Tsukkishima, who in the few seconds Kuroo had been walking over to them been tackled by Yamaguchi, who was hugging the super flustered blonde.

"I think he just doesn't like you" Kenma said before continuing to walk down the hall.

i hope you all enjoyed the story! i had a lot of fun writing this oneshot because yamaguchi is best boy and if any of you say anything otherwise you will face the wrath of tsukkishima and yachi, and me of course.
