Elizabeth's P.O.V

Waiting there at the borders was a carriage with a slim, attractive, tall woman with a beauty mark below her right eye. Her outfit consisted of a highly revealing and open fur collared long coat, with heart shaped buttons, short shorts that resemble panties with a heart on it, and thigh high boots. Her hair was at shoulder length and black. As I was getting into the carriage, I could see my so called family. They may have been terrible to me my whole life but I never imagined this. As the carriage was being carried away from Liones I started to reflect on what I had been told about the King of Edinburgh. Luckily I read a lot of books and would hear many rumors about him like that he wasn't to be taken lightly and that he was a well known ladies man. I didn't know if it was true since they are just rumors. I would have to treed carefully in this place, but for now I only have one goal and that is to survive in the hand of the king.

the carriage that had left for the Kingdom of Edinburgh was now half way to our destination. As I was sitting in the carriage, and started to examine the black haired woman sitting across from me. All I knew was that she was the powerful mage the king of Edinburgh had bet on. I was now more interested on how powerful she really was not to mention that I wanted to find out more on this seductive king, things I could use to make a plan while I'm there. After a couple of hours had passed, the carriage came to a complete stop. The great mage got out of the carriage with me following close behind her. In front of me stood the grand castle of Edinburgh. I continued following behind the mage as she lead me into the castle.

"We are going to see his majesty first, while we're with his Majesty, don't talk if you're not instructed, don't make eye and behave. after we see his majesty, I will show you around. Lastly, here you are no longer princess of Liones. You are just a normal person like everyone else, understood." The mage explained as we walked down the long hall. I merely let out a soft 'yes ma'am'. While we were walking down the hall i noticed many painting. My guess was that they were the previous kings and queens. When I was in Liones I only had one painting of myself. It wasn't with my family, it was just me standing there alone. We soon stopped outside of what I believe to be the throne room. After she knocked on the door, we heard a come in. We were greeted by a not so happy king who was sitting on his throne. The King of Edinburgh was looking over what seemed like important documents to me. We then walked down the long black carpet and stopped in front of the throne.

The mage then gestured to me while also giving me a look that said to remember her words carefully. I only gave her a small nod while looking at her. when I faced the king, I took a quick glance at him before lowering my gase to the floor. I was really confused as I expected him to look old but was met with what looked like a child. "My King, I have returned with what was owed to you." The mage said as the king looked up from his documents and peered behind her to see me. He soon gave the documents to a short old man who was wearing a set of clothes and rings suited for nobles with elaborate designs. I hadn't seen him when i entered with the kings mage. He also had green spiky hair, a beard, and a mustache to match. The black mark on the right side of his head gave me the creeps. It had two spiked circles connected by a line from above to below his right eye. I was very curious on who this person was.

"good work Merlin, show her the ropes and then you can take the day off tomorrow." the King instructed. "now please go, I have important matters to attend to." Her name was Merlin, i should keep that in mind. Merlin then escorted me out of the throne room and showed me around the castle. She mainly showed me the dinning room, the Hearth room, the Kings study, the kitchen, the bathroom and his majesties bedroom. The last stop was my room which I would be sharing for awhile. Before Merlin left she handed me a piece of paper, and telling me to follow it the next day. As I was left alone in my new room, I laid down on the bed still holding the small piece of paper in my hand. I something wondered if I had done something wrong in my life to deserve this. Although its not like i had a glamorous childhood like my sisters. I closed my eyes to get some sleep as I was tired from the long journey. I had a pleasant where I was very happy with someone, but I couldn't see their face. My dream didn't last long as i soon woke up.
