~Chapter 2~

when I woke up, the sun was already high in the sky. since most of my staff were vampires they were all ready to call it a day. I went to my throne room and had to go through a couple of meetings with my kinghts and even my brother. "So any news for me Zeldris?" I noticed his return the moment I stepped into the throne room. "We checked out the rumors and then stopped by the capital of Liones. Luckily for us Gowther was able to get what you needed without getting detected." He looked down while crossing his arms and leaning against the wall behind me.

"About the traitors, we heard that they were spotted near the kingdom of Danafor." I started thinking about what they were planning. If they were planning to take over, it would be a little easy for them. To be fair my father was planning on giving them a commandment but later changed his mind. "Now regarding the girl, the previous Queen had found her near the divine realms gate. During her childhood, she was abused and neglected. When the queen passed away things only got worse for her." She was abused and neglected, her behavior makes more sense now. But what I don't understand is why she was near the divine realm. could she be one of them. An interesting theory but she hadn't shown any signs nor the power."Before I take my leave, on our way back we heard an interesting rumor. Apparently the ruler of the divine beings is going to make an appearance in liones a couple of months from now." Well now things are starting to get a little interesting. From what i have heard was that their clan didnt bother to roam this plane. Instead they would watch from their realm and only intervein when they need to. Of course this was a complete and utter lie they came up with.

I thanked my brother for the information and let him take his leave. I soon left the throne room and walked around my castle until I bumped into Elizabeth. She didn't look so pale anymore and seemed to be getting around just fine. Seeing that the sun was starting to go down we grabbed something to eat and then headed to my study. She decided to keep me company while i worked. The room was quite and I was able to handle most of my paperwork. I put some documents to the side as I was still thinking if i should agree to them. I took a short break as I was getting stressed out a little and needed to relax. I stretched my arms and was about to ask Elizabeth if she was okay but then noticed that she fell asleep. I simply smiled and got back to work. By the time I was done the moon had reached its peak, I gently woke her up by poking her cheek.

She woke up clearly still tired so I asked if she wanted me to carry her back to her room. She slightly nodded her head while rubbing her left eye. I picked her up and carried her back to her room. I soon put her down and left her room as she was now acting like a child. This made me have some sympathy for her, I couldn't begin to imagine how badly her childhood was. I soon fell asleep as I was really tired of reading documents.

I woke up the next morning to someone knocking at my door. I got up and went to see who it was. "What is it now." I said in a hushed tone as it was pretty early in the morning. I then noticed that it was one of the guards. "I'm sorry to disturb you my king but there are some people here that want to meet with you." I let out an annoyed sighed as I didnt want to deal with anyone at the moment. "Tell them that I'm busy and to come back another day." I was ready to shut the door and go back to sleep until he informed me that they already tried but they wouldn't leave. I told them to grab Merlin and to meet me in the throne room. Once they left I went back inside and closed the door. I swiftly changed into a V-neck blue vest, that had three silver diamond-shaped buttons. The vest covered my shoulders and slightly exposes my chest with a small up-turned collar, and slightly opens at the hem. I also wore knee-length pants, and a pair of shoes.

When I was done changing, I used my darkness to make wings to get to the throne room faster. As I landed I saw that Merlin was already there. she looked more annoyed then usual. I guess she was conducting some type of weird experiment. As we entered, I could see two human girls, a male fairy and a giant girl. I sat down on my throne while Merlin stood next to me. When I took a closer looked at the fairy he looked familiar.
