Julie POV~
"The ball drops in two minutes!!" I yelled to everyone. Our family stayed at our house for the holidays because we wanted everyone to get to know eachother since most of them don't know eachother. The holidays has been very successful minus the fact that Chris parents haven't showed up for anything yet.I know that is bothers him that his parents don't like the women that he loves so I try not to touch that subject too much butit bothers me too. The thing that bothers me the most is that his parents were fine with us up until he proposed, that's when things stated to go down hill.
I finished getting all of the drinks ready when it was one minute left until the ball drops. I don't usually drink but I had a rough year so I was sure as hell drinking today

I picked up me and Chris drinks and started looking for him I found him on the floor playing with my little sister.

He stood up and took his drink from me .
7! 6! 5! 4! 3! 2! 1! Happy New Years!
Every one in the house yelled Chris garbed my face and kissed me when the clock struck twelve . " I cant wait to make you my wife Mrs. Julie Oneal has a nice ring to it" he told me before walking off to tell everyone else Happy New Years.
Chris POV~
"Happy New Years " I was walking around telling everyone Happy New Years when Justin spoke to me. I was confused seeing as the last time we saw each other we got into a fight and slapped by Julie.
"Happy New Years to you too Justin" I was about to walk away when he stopped me by pulling my arm." I don’t want to fight with you can we talk for a minute?" I drunk the rest of my bear then lead us to a quiet place so he can say what he has to say.
"I'm sorry about what I said when you came to visit. I do think that you are good enough for my sister its just that I'm still pissed about what happened with her crazy ass roommate. I'm happy for you two, that yall are getting married. I approve of it, just take care of my sister ok? "
I wasn’t expecting him to say that at all but I'm happy that he did because that’s one more person okay with me and Julie getting married.
"Thank you, I really appreciate that and I'm sorry for what I said to you too" I dapped him up and then left the room.
"Hey baby where you been?" Julie asked me with concern.
"I was talking to Justin, its ok were cool now" I told her smiling. 2015 is going to be a great year.
