Nine

Chris POV

"Today is the big day, the day that will change me forever"  I said outloud to no one in particular. I was in our room getting ready for tonight while Julie was cooking. I'm not an expert on cooking so my older sister Anna came over early to help her cook.

I'm going to propose to Julie today and Im nervous as hell about it. Everyone in our family knows about it but her of course,  keeping this surprise from her wasn't easy  at all because she's so nosey and likes to know everything thats going on. 

"are you nervous? " I turned around to see my bestfriend Jordan standing in the doorway.
"hell yea, I cant believe its really about to happen. Thanksgiving came faster than I thought it would"

Julie POV

"The Turkey is on the stove and the cakes are in the oven Anna, I'm going to get ready I'll be back."

" Whats going to happen?" I asked Chris as I walked inot our room.

He turned around and  looked at me nervously. Lately hes looked nervous all the time and whenever I ask him whats wrong he says nothing then moves onto a new topic so I just leave the situation alone.

"Jordan and I are just excited about going black friday shopping that's all" I looked at him to see if he was serious but he walked out of the room too fast. I dont know why he's acting like that but I do intend on finding out.

By the time I finished showering and getting dressed all of our family members here sitting in the living room talking. I scanned the living room for chris but I didnt see him. I figured he was in the kitchen so I turned around to walk to the kitchen but stopped when I was greeted by a handsom Chris on one knee .

"Chris what are you doing?  get off of the floor before you mess up your suite" I whispered down to him. I noticed that the house got really quite and all eyes were on us.

Chtris POV

"Chris what are you doing?  get off of the floor before you mess up your suite". I couldn't help but laugh at her reaction to seeing me on the floor.

"Any other girl would have cried seeing their boyfriend on one knee but not you Julie and that's why I love you. We met four years ago and if I was asked would I change that my answer would be hell no. we've had some problems threw those four years but I wouldn't want to go threw those problems with any one else. I once read that relationships aren't perfect so find the perfect person to be in a relationship with.
Julie what Im trying to say is will you marry me?"

I watched her as she sat there thinking
"of course,  yes I will marry you"

I put the ring in her finger and kissed her as our family clapped in the background. The only thing that would make this day perfect would be having my parents here with me.
