Riley's POV
Suddenly, a pack warrior burst in.....
"We picked up an unknown scent all around the territory but its strongest at the north western border." he said.
My mom and I looked at each other both thinking the same thing.
"We'll check it out." we said in sync.
Before anyone could object, we both dashed out and shifted.
We arrived at the north western border where the scent was the strongest and I immediately knew who it belonged to. Keith and Kaiden.
"Keith, Kaiden." my mom whispered.
Keith is my mom's ex husband and Kaiden is their son. Kaiden was supposed to take over my moms territory but left with my dad. He doesnt even know i exist but he does know about Cameron.
(Cameron is riley's beta and riley is the alpha of her own pack NOT her parents pack)
"They were here." she said in disbelief.
Years ago there was a rumor Keith died.
"Your dad can't know." she told me.
"Why?" i asked.
"Reasons i can't tell you." she said.
"Well then, you're on your own." i told her.
I strolled off towards the house. this is so complicated.
KEITH'S POV
"The plan has commenced."
"Perfect." i said while smirking.
No one is safe.
"Send the wolves now." i commanded.
