Riley's POV
Me and Nash rushed unto the battle field. I noticed both my parents' pack and My love's pack was helping out. Before rushing into battle i made sure my mother led all women and children from all three packs into the safe rooms in my territory because both Nash and My Parents's territory were bound to be attacked.
I was fighing off a black rouge. I snapped its neck and in an instant its life was taken away. Suddenly, a huge menancing wolf approached me. I recognised it immediately, it was him, my mother's ex lover, Keith. Another wolf joined him and they both started circling me. I recognised the wolf as my half brother, Kaiden. They both lunged for me but was stopped when i teleported away. I smirked when my powers made an appearance.
Only. Kaiden started approaching me but he suprised me, he took out the wolf that was on my dad's side that was about to attack. He shifted.
"I want to help you. I never wanted this he forced me. He said he would kill my mate." He told me.
I knew he was telling the truth so i mindlinked the warriors not to hurt him.
Soon, i heard a howl of pain and suffering it was my dad.
I saw him surrounded by blood. I ran to him with tears in my eyes. I checked for a pulse he was dead.
I heard the menacing laugh of Keith. Anger coursed through my veins. I could feel my eyes turning and all mercy leaving my soul. I wanted blood Keith's blood.
I lunged for him but was immediately cut off by the person i least expected holding a silver knife coated with wolfsbane to my beloved's neck and a gun to his head.
"Well well, are still going to kill me and risk your precious mate's life?"
