"CHARLI?!" The boy shouted as he gave me the biggest hug ever. "OH! QUIN." I shouted back, "you can put me down now.." I added on as we both laughed. Quinton and I haven't seen each other in a minute, we used to be best friends. I'm actually going to admit it now but I actually used to have the BIGGEST crush on him. It all stopped though, he has a girlfriend now and she's actually a beautiful girl. I am kind of jealous because he distanced himself from me which made me kind of hurt! But, it's fine. "Soooo, it's been a while. How's everything?" he said cheesing really hard. "Everything is good. Also, Quinton stop cheesing." I said as I laughed. Then, a girl came by him and started holding his hand. "Babe, are we still going out?" She said. "OMG, CHARLI? Nice to meet you!" She added on while giving me a big squishy hug. "Oh, hi. You must be his girlfriend?" I said with an awkward tone. "Oh me, I'm Cynthia.. yes I'm his girlfriend." she said with a smile on her face. It kind of looked like a fake smile? But, maybe this girl is actually nice if I get to know her. "Baby, we should like get going.." she said as she gripped on his chest. "Yeah, we should.. catch you later, charli." He said with a look of guilt on his face. He usually doesn't call me charli, so I knew something was off. He has a nickname for me but he haven't really been using it. Then, my phone started buzzing from my text message. It was from Quinton.

I really don't understand why Quinton got mad. He made it a big deal and it literally wasn't! Maybe because I'm completely trying to cut him off and we were friends for years, maybe that's why?
