(2 weeks later)
Sehun had went into hospital to see his mom and this time wasn't what he expected, it was a day before his birthday. He was talking to her and she was smiling before he saw her heart rate going down "mom? Are you ok, mom!!?" She was holding on tight to sehun's hands "mom don't leave me now" "I'm not l-leaving and h-h-happy birthday for t-t-tomorrow I will l-leave you a gift and I-I'm sure you'll e-enjoy it" her heart was going down and the nurses and doctors were trying their best to help her stay around longer. "I'm sorry S-s-sehun" she had closed her eyes and saw her heart not beating anymore. All there was left was a straight line........ He was crying so much and he had spent half of the day at hospital before her funeral. He left the hospital and all he felt was sadness and like life had no purpose no more.
He had gotten a taxi home and as he got back, he was walking back up to his doorstep and chanyeol had saw the tears in his eyes, still crying. Chanyeol became concerned and the other 2 had saw him as well, he rubbed his nose, causing a sniffle and he wiped away the tears falling down his cheeks. He got out his keys and was about to unlock the door until he felt chanyeol pin him to the door "hey what's the matter?" Chanyeol asked with a soft tone, sehun had hugged the older and he did the same back. "M-my mom *sniffle* S-s-she's d-dead" sehun hugged him closer and tighter but chanyeol let him do it since he was so upset "wasn't it not until the end of the year?" "Yeah b-but it g-got to her f-f-faster than e-expected" chanyeol hugged him close as well and kissed the top of his head "I'm so sorry for your mom" "It's fine you didn't do anything wrong to her". They stayed in that hug and chanyeol's lower part of the head was in sehun's hair, he smelt his hair and it smelt like a new, fresh book. "I don't know what my mom meant by she had a gift for me for tomorrow" "I don't know you'll probably find out tomorrow" "mhm" chanyeol knew what she meant by present and knew it was him and a gift that she was planning to give him this year on his 21st.
"I guess I'll see you tomorrow then?" "Wait tomorrow?" "Yeah don't you remember? Our date?" "Oh my God I'm sorry I'll promise not to forget about it for tomorrow" "ok" they hugged before he left to go inside his house, knowing he was actually excited about tomorrow after 4/5 years...
