Chapter 6

Sehun had planned on just getting a few things from the shop and do something random for the rest of the day. As he was heading there, he accidentally bumped into someone and he fell on his knees, he saw that it wasn't just a stranger but it was someone who he regretted to see and wanted to forget about. His ex, Luhan. The older male had held his hand out and helped him up, as their eyes met, Luhan rubbed the back of his neck in awkwardness "Hi uhhh........long time no see" "Yeah" the awkwardness of silence was high until Luhan spoke "so can we go have a coffee and catch up sometime soon?" "It sounds nice but don't you remember your words before you left me heartbroken?" Luhan was in thought then remembered "please can we start over?" "No I've moved on and you should too" he backed away slightly as Luhan was coming closer slowly, after sehun stopped, Luhan had grabbed the smaller male's wrist in a tight grip "come back to mine otherwise you'll know what will be coming." Luhan had got out a pocket knife and he had put it inches away from sehun's face, making the younger try and back away, Luhan had lashed it across his face and sehun had felt a different grip of a man's hand and looked up to see chanyeol with kai and baekhyun.

Chanyeol had been way taller than Luhan and looked like he could crush him with his own shoe, Luhan gulped at their height and Luhan had hid away the pocket knife. Luhan had terror in his eyes as he looked at the 3 tall men with masks on their faces, they gave him a glare that had the meaning 'get lost and never return'. "What are you doing with our hunnie?" Baekhyun asked "Yeah what are you doing with him? And what's with the pocket knife?" Kai added on, making Luhan in the wrong mindset "you 4 are in a relationship!? That's gross!! SEHUN YOU ARE AN UGLY-" Kai had grabbed his neck and lifted him up "sehun is an ugly what?" "I-it doesn't matter J-just let go" the other 2 signed him with eye contact to let him go and Luhan had been dropped to the ground, he had still fearful eyes for the 3 men and chanyeol spoke "run away and don't come near sehun ever again ok!?" He just ran away from the 4, chanyeol had saw tears in sehun's eyes when he turned around and a big wound on his face was still bleeding.

Chanyeol had put a hand on his face and tried to avoid the wound, he became angry that someone hurt him, the other 2 had saw the wound and they headed back to chanyeol's house to clean up the wound and hopefully something to heal it up. They managed to clean it up and it stopped bleeding "I'm so sorry for him back there i-" "It's fine but who was he?" Chanyeol asked concerned then sehun sighed before speaking "It was my a-a-abusive e-ex" "abusive? What did he do to you?" Baekhyun asked whilst sitting on the living room floor next to kai. Sehun had been looking down whilst sitting on the sofa, trying not to cry, it failed and he tried to speak but it came out as a stutter "h-he did h-h-horrible things I don't want t-to explain" he felt chanyeol wipe away his tears with his sleeve and he hugged the younger who was crying into his shirt "we won't ever treat you like that ok? We are here for you" he nodded whilst his face was still in his chest. Baekhyun was known for loving cuddles and he was getting jealous of the cuddles "where are my cuddles?" Sehun removed himself from the hug and jumped for a hug that baekhyun reached out for, once they were in a hug, baekhyun had got him in a tight hug and smiled.

Sehun smiled also and after a while, baekhyun had came out from the hug and chanyeol spoke "Where were you going before he interrupted you?" "Just to a store to collect a few things for myself and head back home" "I'm guessing we were doing the same thing" Kai replied and they all nodded in agreement. They all headed out to buy what they needed and as they reached sehun's house, they all hugged and baekhyun spoke "can me and kai get your number so we can text you?" "Sure!" he replied happily and exchanged numbers before leaving the 3 and waving bye. As he entered the house, he saw his mom sitting at the table, with hands covering her face, he placed the 2 bags on the side before sitting next to his mom "mom what's wrong?" Then she looked up at sehun and grabbed his hands and placed them in hers "I've got cancer and I have just over a year left to live........I'm sorry sehun I'd live longer for you and your sister but that's just what life has gave me" sehun felt tears build up and hugged his mom close, knowing he'd have to take her to the hospital so they can look after her.

He packed away the stuff he bought earlier when he was in a bright mood but all he felt now was sadness, knowing his mom would die soon. He felt horrible and spent time with his mom before he had headed back upstairs to his room, looking at his posters. He gave them a weak smile before crying even more but into his pillow this time, after a few minutes, he saw baekhyun's name pop up on his vibrating phone and decided to pick up.

B- hi sehun how are you?

S- *sniffle* fine what about you?

B- hey are you ok? You know I'm always here to talk

S- if I told you the truth *sniffle* I'd end up crying more

B- please tell me or I'll feel like rubbish the whole night

S- m-my mom *sniffle* just found out today that- *starts to break down into tears*

B- sehunnie you're making me cry is it something to do with a deadly disease?

S- my mom is d-d-dying from cancer and she'll die in just over a y-year

B- oh my God h-hunnie I'm crying so much as w-well as you are

S- are you an emotional bitch like me? *lets out a slight fake laugh*

B- yes I am sehun *laughs with him whilst he wipes away the tears*

S- I'm so sorry for making you cry

B- it's fine I wish I didn't but I'm too sensitive and emotional

S- so am I

B- I've got to go now bye it was nice talking to you

S- you too
