As the sun started rising into the mountain peaks, SkyWings were starting to enter the seats in the arena.

Sunset then flew over to Iceberg's podium, and layed beside her. She whispered to her, "Quick! Spread your wings!"

Iceberg spread her wings as best as she could, trying to hide Sunset. She watched the arena curiously.

Queen Comet slithered into her balcony. Soon, a dark red SkyWing with golden wings was hauled over by two SkyWing guards. A chain was looped around her snout.

"Hey, that dragon sort of looks like you

"Hey, that dragon sort of looks like you." Iceberg said to Sunset.

Sunset snorted. "As if! I don't have any dark red scales."

Iceberg sighed. "Hmm.. well, I feel like she knows you."

Sunset rolled her eyes. "Whatever you say, now shush! They're about to start!"

Two dragons came out of the balcony beside Queen Comet, but they didn't look like guards. On the left side, there was a blood-red SkyWing while on the other side was another SkyWing that had shiny, polished red scales. The color of hibiscus petals, and they had bright orange wings.

Iceberg squinted to get a better look at the dragons. She hoped no SkyWing guards would spot Sunset on the podium.

"That's Hawk." Sunset said, pointing to the SkyWing on the left. "He argues for the defense. He's nice to me though. Because I always listen to his stories."

"He seems like a nice guy." Iceberg said. "Maybe he can tell you about what's going on when this is done?"

Queen Comet bear her wings and all the dragons turned her attention to her. "Loyal subjects. This dragon, Ash, once of the SkyWings, stands accused of the highest treason. Disobeying me."

Iceberg snorted. Who would get punished for being disobedient? She thought. That's just stupid.

"Your majesty." The dragon on the right side said. "The facts are clear. You gave an order. Ash disobeyed you and fled the kingdom. She deserves a long, painful execution. There is no need to drag this out."

Ash glared at the queen. Smoke seeped from her bound mouth and nostrils.

Iceberg turned to Sunset, to see how she was reacting to this.

Sunset didn't turn to Iceberg, looking down into the arena and listening.

The queen nodded to right dragon. "Well said." Queen Comet then turned to Hawk. "Now Hawk May speak for the defense. Or not, if he'd prefer to sleep through this trial, too."

The crowd started laughing.

Hawk spoke. "Your majesty. I do have one or two words to say in this prisoner's defense."

Queen Comet's tail lashed slowly. "Certainly. That's what your here to do. Go ahead."

Hawk cleared his throat. "Consider first charge of disobedience. Ash did not do as you ordered. But then, didn't you reverse the order after she was gone?"
