Raviel's POV

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Raviel, happy birthday to you " and then I felt cold and wet. I opened my eyes and saw that my best friend holding a bucket in his hand.

I ran after him but he shut the door in my face. Cheeky bastard.I went for a quick shower and saw my favorite person from hell when I came out.

" Cerbeus it's been awhile"

" Happy birthday cousin" yes the three headed guardian dog from hell is my cousin. Just like a wolf he could shift into a human, he also had power over every shadow wolf in hell.

" Thank you where's Lucifer?"

" Right here my boy" speak of the Devil and he shall appear.My grandfather and I shared a few similarities such as our eyes and hair were the same colour. He was quite handsome for a man that has been roaming the earth since day one. The cool thing about hell is when your there you gain immortality.

" So what did you get me" I always looked foward  to his gifts they were extravagant.

" Well that customized Range Rover outside didn't buy itself"

I ran over to my window and there was the Range rover I've always wanted but my dad refused to buy it unless I passed history, which is what I call impossible.

" Have I ever told you that your my favorite grandfather"

" I'm your only grandfather, but that's not important now, you'll find your mate today that's what you should be excited about"

I winced as I remembered how she kicked me in the crotch, my hands went there on their own accord and this didn't go unnotice by the hell keepers.

" There's no need to get a hard on now my boy although if you're looking for a good time I do have many mistresses in hell and earth"

They laughed at the comment while I rolled my eyes.

" I've found my mate two days ago and she's human" and it was quiet followed by a boisterous laughter.

" You're quite funny cousin what's gotten into you today" he bent over and started laughing until he was on the floor and my grandfather had to grasp the bed for support.

" The young human isn't joking we did find our mate she's human but something weird is happening with the family which I shall soon find more info on. "

And then they stopped laugh. My demon didn't play around and they knew that.

" That's impossible " Cerbeus  exclaimed.

" Maybe she's a witch and cast a spell on you"Lucifer said.

My wolf growled at his comment no one speaks ill of my mate.

" This conversation is getting quite serious eh, meet us in hell after your own hell on earth is over" and then my grandfather vanished.

" Oh here you go this necklace was your mom's ,happy birthday Ravi"he gave me a hug and vanished right after.

It was a ruby heart shaped necklace and when I opened the locket there was a picture of me , her and dad. A lone tear strayed down my face . I places it in my secret drawer, where my candy was kept from Shaquan and got ready for school.

" I smelt that old rascal from down here" I looked up and saw my dad cooking breakfast. I haven't even realized I've reached the kitchen I was too busy thinking about what would happen if mom was here.

" Well that rascal bought me the car I wanted"

" Well guess who's not driving it"

" You and Shaquan "

" Who dare to call the king's name without permission ..oh bacon" and just like he forgot about everything.

" What's on your mind Ravi?" My father shared the breakfast among the three of us and we sat done around the dining table.

" I've found my mate" All forks dropped and both Shaquan and my father turned around and looked at me .

" Please tell me it's not that girl that keeps throwing herself at you because I had run her out this morning "my father closed his eyes that was definitely Veronica.

" That's Veronica and no she's human" I continued eating my eggs.

" How the hell is that possible " my father muttered.

" Is it that new girl with her brothers?" Shaquan asked.

" Yup" I winced.

" The same girl that kicked your nutsack?" Did he really have to bring that up.

" Yea" I winced again.

" Good luck my brother" I rolled my eyes at him once I'm in control she has to obey.

" Dad her brother is a vampire and seeing the way he reacted he doesn't know anything and there's a dragon he went inside her house so I'm assuming they're related "

" How many brothers does this girl has?" He asked , his tone was serious and his eyes filled with slight worry.

" Based on my research eleven " I know , it sounds as if I'm a stalker.

" Raviel you don't have any idea what's going on?" He shook his head and took our dishes to the sink.

" What is there to know?"

" Never mind get ready for school "

" Come on Alpha it's his mate we're talking about" Shaquan argued and Dad let out a sigh.

" Dad whats going on" I asked slightly worried and a bit irritated he's holding back.

" The war is nearer than I thought "

Great now he wants to speak in riddles

" What war?" Shaquan asked clearly annoyed by his short answers and so was I.

" It's a legend , almost like the twelve disciples in the Bible except they're twelve siblings. It has been written that one day they will be able to stop the war between hunters and shifters. This could lead to all shifters being extinct if lost. Also would be the end of it"

" So you have a kick ass mate kool" Shaquan squealed.

My dad sighed.

" Each of your mate's brothers is a different type of shifter each the most powerful there is and will be. She's supposed to be the queen of us all if hunters find out about she's alive they won't stop until she's dead."

" He's right grandson that's why you have no other choice but to take over hell" Lucifer appeared out of nowhere.

" He will not be King of your kingdom" my father growled at him.

"What will he gain from being a mere Alpha Fabian, if he rules the underworld he has the ability to be a god" Lucifer argued.

" Yeah then why aren't you a god Lucifer , you're a puppet to the gods and I will not let my son be just like you" he was ready to pounce at my grandfather who was ready to set him ablaze.

" I'm not the one who won't be able to protect my mate when the war comes" and that caused silence to fall upon the room.

" How do we know the gods will even accept him, you do know that he should be dead right?" Shaquan inputted.

" They don't want him dead because he's a hybrid they want him dead because every angel in heaven fear him" Lucifer grinned I could only face palm.
