Chapter 27

Raviel's POV

" Fuck Jessica"I groaned as she bounced up and down. Soon she had her organsm and I came right after. It was the best feeling ever it was worth waiting for.

She lay down on my chest both of us covered in sweat.

" I love you" I whispered , but she heard me.

" What" she asked with a confused look. It may be a little early to say that and I didn't want to scare her away.

" Let's go freshen up" I got up and started running the hot water, when I heard her wince, when she held on to the post I couldn't help but grin.

" Somebody's a lil sore" I smirked. She glared at me.

" Shut up Raviel" I took her in my arms and brought her to the bathroom. I stared down at my mate with my mark on her neck. I washed her hair and rubbed her down , she did the same. We dried off and got some clothes. My demon started to feel off.

" Something is wrong Raviel" my mate said

Soon Shaquan barged in with Amber following

" Raviel there's hundreds of  hunters at the northern border"

" Get the women and children to safety now!" He shifted into his bat and flew off with Amber behind him.

We ran downstairs and into the field and it was a warzone. Men armed in shields with guns and arrows and creatures shifted of all kinds waiting on one to make a move.

Reece, Noah, Michael, Miguel and the Triplets were at the front, and on the other side stood a dark skinned man with wings.

" Amenadiel " I growled.

" Well , well isn't it the King of all Shifters" he grinned, he knew that we mated , the mark was evident on her neck .

" Who's about to end your life" I smirked at him until I saw a woman in white dress stood beside him. I heard my father gasp

" Not before I kill your mom" I couldn't control my demon any longer soon all hell broke loose.

Jessica's POV

Raviel charged towards the angel and threw him across the field.But they were prepared soon Noah and the others shifted and followed his lead killing everyone in there path.

Six arrows we're shot my way and I used airbending to reverse them killing nine men. I created shields for the wolves who found silver lethal when I felt someone behind me. It was an ugly man with a sword ready to plunge in back when Jess came into my view. His eyes widened at the impact and my heart stopped dead. He fell to the ground blood spluttering out his mouth.

" Jess " I placed pressure on his wound but it wasn't enough. I forgot about everything and focused on saving my twin brother.

" Hey listen , listen " he whispered.

" I love you okay"he grabbed my hand.

" Stop talking like that Jess" Miguel ran over and saw what was happening.

" Hey man stay with us" he only smiled.

" It's better if I go trust me I'll be happier " tears were streaming down my face and his eyes began to flutter.

" No no no no, can't you heal or something " I screamed at Miguel.

" Yazmin" he whispered with a smile on his face and soon our brother went limp in Miguel arms.

" Jess please don't leave me" I cried. It felt as if half of my heart was torn out of my chest.

"Please" I croaked all the boys came to a halt when they saw what happened. Tears streaming down their faces. The rain began to pour and all mermaids and sirens were singing and screeching.

I looked foward and saw the man that killed my brother getting up. I walked towards him with vengeance in my heart.

I took him up and plunged my hands in his chest feeling his beating heart and I pulled it out.

I felt empty

I was only out for one thing and that was blood.
