Chapter 18

Amber's POV

    "Why don't you just die, you're the reason why dad is dead , nobody wants you Amber, just die already " my sister kept on reminding me. 

And she sure did a hell of a job because I remembered these words everyday.

" You know if you just die you would be doing good for all of us, mom, me and your mate. "

She's right

My mate

He a fit body , no doubt he was a jock and looked like the fuckboy type. I was a virgin for God's sake , inexperienced why the hell would he waste his time on a grinch looking bitch like me.

" You're not worth it Amber even your own siren abandoned you just die bitch die" and she kicked me in my stomach and walked off.

I got up and looked in the mirror and all I could see was a broken, suicidal failure. I opened the drawer and took out the razor and began doing what I did best cut myself.

I'm a failure

Sliced wrist

I don't deserve a mate

Slice thighs

I'm the reason why my father is dead

Slice all over again

I got up and pour the liquor all over the cuts but I still didn't feel anything. I was numb and that's how I wanted to feel for the rest of days on this planet.I went downstairs and saw my mom making my twin breakfast. She never did that for me , because she blames me.  I walked to school on an empty stomach preparing for the torture to begin again.

~~Jessica's POV

I was walking down the hallways when I saw Amber leaning against her locker looking like she haven't slept a wink last night.

" Hey Bambi" it was a cool nickname since she's obsessed with the movie.

" Oh umm hi" she answered nervously. She lifts up her hand and I saw the red marks on her wrist.

" Amber what's wrong with your ..." I was cutted of by intolerant brother Noah.

" Is that your name....Amber"

Great Noah just had to come , such a beautiful girl like Amber shouldn't be cutting herself.

" Y..ess"  she stuttered and began to blush.

Cute but it was disgusting at the same time

Then Noah started wringing his hands around and scratching at his eyes.

Then Jess and Zayn came to witness this moment. Zayn dropped his books and Chris dropped his sandwich we have never ever witnessed Noah being nervous over a GIRL

" So would you like to go out sometimes , if you got a boyfriend I totally understand because you're really beautiful like breathtaking, have you ever being to Jamaica because I have oh my God I'm rambling sorry"his cheeks resembled red juicy tomatoes right now.

I just kept staring at Noah like a fish on dry land.

" I'm sorry Noah but I can't " she said with tears in her eyes and ran off.

Noah got rejected

" Amber wait " and I heard his voice crack he was about to run after her but I stopped him.

" Let me deal with this Noah" I went to the girls bathroom and heard Amber sobbing.

" Sweetheart I can help you "

" Nobody can Jessica, Noah is too good for me , I just can't "

" You can't or you won't give him a chance. I saw the cuts on your hand Amber, I can't stop you but let me tell you this. There are many people who would give anything to see their love ones again, I don't what you're going through but don't use that pain in a negative way let it have a positive impact . We may have only met one day but I can help you, Noah can help you just give us a chance? We love you okay"

My cheesy words of encouragement seemed to help because she opened the door and I saw blood running down her wrists.

" Save me please I can't " then she broke down and I hugged her while she cried. Whoever did this to her will pay.

When I heard Jessica's speech , I felt a little hope something I've never felt before. It's been fifteen minutes since my breakdown and she hasn't moved.I know classes have started a long time ago but she didn't care. So I decided to tell her everything.

"Veronica is my sister"

" That bitch I'm gonna murder her"

" Please don't if you tell anyone it will only get worst at home "I tried to compromise with her but there was too much fury in her eyes.

" Fine but I make no promises "she sat back down with her arms crossed over her chest.

" She's my twin to be exact, my father died when I was fifteen . I was once that wreckless teen didn't have a care in the world. I had a boyfriend named Josh one day he invited me over and I did my father told me not to go because there would be a blizzard . Josh had a group a friends over and he wanted me to have sex with him while they would record it.I refused then he got mad and tried to rip my clothes off but I ran to the bathroom and called my dad , he didn't hesitate when he got there it was a nasty fight and I walked in the snow with him on my back but I couldn't save my father. He died because of me Jessica " and then I cried all over again I could see that Jessica was crying as well.

" From that day my sister and mother changed towards me I had to cook , wash and clean sometimes I don't get anything to eat. I work at a bar where I have to wear a skirt that displays my ass so I can an extra tip to save towards college."

By now Jessica was in full tears. She hugged me and told me everything would be alright and for once I believed.
